Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival — Local services in Urayasu

It’s just too short, sadly. It feels super rushed, especially since most people will have waited 1-2 hours to get on. The lantern festival room at the end is wonderful, but so quick. The Belle ride at Tokyo Disneyland feels so much more immersive because you get to spend plenty of time with each scene. Our Rapunzel-obsessed daughter loved it, but admitted she enjoyed the Frozen ride better. This line can actually get short in the late evening, especially after a rainy day where we saw it down to 20 minutes. If you’re staying at FS Hotel, do Frozen first, then run to this and you should have little to no wait and you may even be able to get to Peter Pan before the 9AM crowds flow into Fantasy Springs because it takes until about 9:15 for people to get all the way to FS from the front entrance. Enjoy, but don’t over hype this one...

Standby wait was 20-30 minutes all day. Jump to 4pm, and the wait is now 100 minutes (the app showed a 60 minute wait when we joined-- this was not accurate.) What is the point of using exclusively standby passes for the Fantasy Springs rides, if you are not going to stagger guests throughout the day and do effective crowd control. If the delay was due to a ride malfunction, they should announce it, so guests can decide whether or not to stay in a line that doesn't move for an hour.

Can't say this pretty 6 minute boat ride was worth it. This ride is famously short. How they managed to create such a backlog is beyond me.

The attention to detail is there! But as with all the rides. It is indeed magical ride, seeing the castle and the lantern scene. Bought DPA for it upon recommendation of a friend. However, even with DPA, the wait was at least 20-30min. The ride, though beautiful was really short too. A bit underwhelming with how short it was. Sindbad’s voyage had that level of detail and it was really long. This ride just seems very rushed. Not very sure if it was worth taking and worth buying the DPA for. Recommend getting the free...
