I want to start by saying that the hotel staff was excellent—friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our experience with them was nothing short of great. Unfortunately, the hotel itself fell short in several areas.
For reference we got the Deluxe Junior suite (non-smoke, but smelled like smoke) and payed to include breakfast buffet.
Amenities: Outside of the buffet and shuttle service to Disney (which came with long wait, compared to others that arrived twice before ours), there were no real amenities offered. We were especially disappointed when we inquired about laundry and were told we would need to use the neighboring Sheraton’s facilities.
Room Condition: • Outdated Setup: The room felt dated. The TV only picked up a handful of antenna channels, had no HDMI ports, and was connected to a DVD player—which is hardly practical in 2025, as most people no longer travel with DVDs. Essentially, we had no TV for our stay. • Refrigerator: The “mini” fridge was extremely small and lacked a freezer compartment. This was inconvenient, especially if you planned to bring along cooling items like ice packs or cold neck bands for Disney. • Water: There were no water refill stations on any floor. While the faucet had a note claiming the water was safe to drink, we weren’t comfortable with that option. Thankfully, housekeeping replenished three bottled waters daily. • Beds: The mattresses were thin, firm, and outdated. I could feel the springs through the surface, making for an uncomfortable sleep. Definitely not up to the standard of most Western-style beds. • Cleanliness & Layout: The carpet was heavily stained, and the room felt cramped due to excess furniture. We had to move several pieces just to create enough space to walk around comfortably.
Design Flaws: One puzzling feature was a large window in the wall separating the bathroom from the main room. At night, turning on the bathroom light illuminated the entire sleeping area—very disruptive when traveling with kids.
Activities: On our “rest” day, we hoped for on-site activities but found none. Once again, the Sheraton next door offered what this hotel lacked: family activities and a children’s indoor play area.

Overall: The staff did their best, but the hotel itself is outdated, lacking in amenities, and inconvenient compared to nearby options. For the price, we expected much more...
Read moreAs other reviews mentioned, a dated hotel. But room was large and comfortable. Odd layout: 2 adjacent full beds on opposite sides of the room for our family of four. There was a door in the room that led to a wall. A blind to the bathroom could be lifted and lowered from outside of the bathroom for some reason. Pillowcase had a subtle stain. Bathroom was large and nice, but as the hotel warns you, be careful because the marble floor can be slippery. There was a minifridge. Checkin and room assignment time 3pm, and they wouldn't assign a room earlier - not unexpected, so no problem there. We did 'check in' however at 1pm and left our baggage at the concierge so we could go to Disney. On return in the evening, room was assigned and bags were already delivered. Maybe due to it being New Year's, one of the only options to eat at was their upscale restaurant Fontana - we paid 2200 yen for a plate of spaghetti with ketchup and hot dogs. This is spaghetti napolitana, and it's a real thing - I thought they tried to substitute red sauce and sausage on us, but I was wrong. The next night we walked over to the adjacent Sheraton and had a much better meal at Grand Cafe in the lobby. Staff did not have an idea how to get us to Narita Airport by 7am - a couple different employees said taxis don't run overnight. They suggested the limousine bus but the first departure was at 714am or so. Another suggestion was to walk 30 minutes with our luggage to the Maihama metro station, since the hotel shuttle to the metro wouldn't be running that early. A quick web search yielded a website called Nearme - booked a shuttle for 6am, and they were right on time (cost was 25000 yen). Uber is another option, though I couldn't make a reservation the night before - looks like it was 'on demand' only. The Japanese app 'Go' looked like it could also book an airport shuttle for you. Basically the hotel was convenient to Disney (I preferred a Disney hotel for early entry but they were sold out), room was large and clean and quiet, hotel staff were polite but unhelpful re airport transfer information, and I was able to use some reward points to lower the room cost. I would stay here again in a bind, but not my...

Liked · The room (Delux - Non Smoking) was spacious and the bed was huge! It seemed larger than a king. The room gets crowded if they add an additional bed. We were 3 of us, 1 kid, and asked the hotel to remove the additional bed. We got the ocean view room which was nice saw a few couples getting married in the chapel of the hotel next door. We had 3 large bags and 3 small carryon. There wasn't enough space to stow the bags away so we lined them along the wall next to the bed. There was a small fridge and coffee make but no microwave in the room.
The bathroom is very spacious, the only downside to having the toilet, shower and tub in the same room is only one can use it at a time. The tub is huge and the shower is decently spacious. The water pressure anywhere in Japan seems amazing. The toilet was good but the bidet did not work, we just thought the controls may have been disabled.
If you are staying here to visit Disney then know that there is a convenient free bus service that goes to both parks and also the Maihama station. The busses are not as frequent and do not run as late as the Disney Resort Line. We booked a 3 day unlimited but other than the first day only used it twice a day to go to the park and get back to the hotel. It runs every 10 min whereas the bus is every 30 during the day and hourly later in the day and stops running at 10pm. If the bus timings and frequency works for you don't need to use the train to get to the parks. If you do use the train the hotel is right across from the bayside station a less than 5 min walk.
We did not use any of the facilities, there is an currency exchange machine in the lobby but don't use it as the rates are not good but convenient to have in a hurry. There is a massage place weirdly located among rooms on one of the higher floors but it opens late at night and operates into the early morning. It must be popular as we could not get in for the 4 days we stayed. It was appointment only and all sessions booked out.
Disliked · The bed was huge but not very comfortable, the pillows were tiny and sucked too. We were so tired after our days at Disney that we...
