While I am slightly annoyed at the creeping gentrification that seems to be coming hand-in-hand with the newish Shin-Tsunashima Station, I have to admit it's great to have a decent chocolate shop in the area.
I come here pretty often when I need to get something nice and a little too expensive in a pinch.
While you're browsing, usually one of the staff will offer a free chocolate, held daintily in tongs. The only catch is that you have to eat it right there on the spot. So: make sure you come when are in the mood to eat some chocolate! because I often decline if the timing isn't right, and then I regret all the chances in life I have let slip away. Learn from my mistakes and enjoy the free chocolate!
In my opinion, the main advantage to Lindt is their "pick + mix," where you can pick your own combination of chocolates. I know this is not a revolutionary feature, but nonetheless I get a kick out of it. 29 pieces of Blood Orange, and just one Pistachio: you can really make a statement! Or not, if that's too stressful for you.
They always have some super-confusing "campaign" going on, which, through bitter experience, I have finally learned to ignore. NO, I do not want to download and use the Lindt app so I can get a 1% discount on vaguely-described future purchases.
One more thing, the soft-serve ice cream here is amazing. There's a small seating area with 2 or 3 tables, if that's full you might be able to find seating somewhere else in the building.
