湯河原温泉 ゆがわら水の香里 — Local services in Yugawara

Canadian here so sorry my friendly Japanese friends but for my first onsen experience, this hotel was awesome! My girls family gets a rebate for living in ota-ku so we all stayed there for a night. I tried the outdoor and indoor baths (showered first of course, you need a clean body before going in any of these) and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I am not a fan of sea food so I wish there were more choices at the banquet and I wish there was less elderly people there but overall the ambiance and the people there were incredibly polite. You hear small waterfalls and smell the forest when you open the sliding door and sleep on traditional Japanese futons in a renovated but old style room. The bathroom is typical of Japanese bathrooms in that it includes the toilet with the washlet and is of course impeccably clean. I would give this hotel 100 stars by Canadian standards but I suggest everyone should go at least once...

湯河原温泉が鬼滅の刃コラボをやっていたので遠征してきました

湯河原温泉はのどかでいいですね 熱海なんか観光客でいっぱい 一駅でこんな情緒のある温泉地があるなんてね よく知りませんが、熱海って何がいいんでしょう

フロントは綺麗です 調べてみるとロビーと大浴場は改装したばかりのようです 綺麗と言えば案内の外人さんも綺麗でカッコいい男性でした 従業員に外人さんが多いんですが、みんなしっかりしていて気持ちよかった

ついでに調べて分かったのはよくある元官公庁の保養所の払い下げ旅館なんだ もと足立区の保養所「あだち荘」なんですか 2008年にフォレストグループが買取って、2013年に全面改装したみたいですが、それから10年ですよね まあ安く泊めてもらったので、なんの文句もないんですが、そこここに、やっつけ仕事みたいな改装かなりありました

部屋のドアの入口の配置がわけわからんかったり、開かずの扉があったりするのはまあいいとして、洗面所の壁土が剥がれたり、穴があいてたりしてセメントが丸見えの所か数箇所ありました 壁土の塗り方が下手というより、壁土がすぐ剥がれるタイプですね 昔、住んでた借家がこんなでした 爪でほじったらすぐ穴が空いたのを覚えています

あとは露天風呂 大浴場の入口を入ってすぐ横に露天風呂のドアがあって、窓側の露天風呂に入るのに真逆の通路を通らないと行けなかったりします 眼鏡を外して、よく見えない状態とはいえ、たどり着くのに3回入浴しました

改装ではないですが、トイレの手拭きは昔懐かしい回転式手拭きがついていました 多分、業者に取り替えを頼むんだろうから経費の無駄ですね 清潔感もないし 備え付けの手ぬぐいがあるんだから、手ぬぐい掛けを付けるだけでいいのに

風呂の造りは変だけど、温泉はいい 最初、水道水かと疑ったんですが、後でお肌ツルツルに身体ホカホカになりました 奥ゆかしい、いい湯です

旅館の食事はまだあるのかと言うくらいのたくさんの種類が出てくるのが楽しいんですが、こちらも種類だけはたくさんありました まあ、これといって、すごく美味しい物は無かった 強いて言えば、朝食の干物くらいかな

あと、男物の浴衣 裏表がわかりにくい 間違えている客は僕だけじゃなかったよ

色々文句も言いましたが、口コミに書いてある事が改善されている所が多々ありましたちゃんとチェックしているようです...
