Booked a massage for three people. The other two people said their massages were 5/5 so this 1/5 is only with regards to my massage. A) the massage table was not a real massage table. There was no hole for my face when lying facedown. Simply lying with my head sideways plus the massage pressuring me down in an unnatural way resulted in far more neckpain the next days post-massage, which is exactly the problem i went in to resolve. — the other 2 received proper massage tables. B) Speaking of neckpain, I circled my neck and my legs as being sore on the sheet of paper. This was completely ignored. C) Regarding the skill of the massage itself. Having spent almost 2 months in Thailand the past year I can say this massage was very bad. I also visited two other massage places in Bishkek during my stay, both cheaper but actually very very good. — the other 2 said their masseuses were very good.
Conclusion, I guess I was unlucky with the masseuse I received in terms of skill but also it seems like she didnt care about the paper. But the massage table itself was also really bad. I believe there are maybe 6 or 7 massage tables in total so you essentially have 1 in 6 chances of getting a bad facedown experience with neckpain and if there are 6 masseuses, a 1 in 6 chance of getting also a...
Read moreIt cannot get any better. I went two times during my 4 days spent in Bishkek. One time for Pain management massage, and one time for neck shoulder and back massage. After living 6 months in Thailand earlier this year, and getting a massage at least once a week there, I can confidently say that the massages I received in Kamin were the best I ever had, specially the second one who was just perfect. My masseuse understood where I was in pain just by touching my body, and applied the right amount of pressure and time to each of my knots. The place is clean, warm, and the reception was great, polite and charming. The price is of course more expensive than in Thailand, but so much less than what it would have cost in Paris where I'm from, where I would have easily payed 5x more. My only regret is that I'm leaving Bishkek and will not be able to get more massages there. Thank you for everything, and keep up the good work. I wish you the...
