Just walking around Bishkek on a Saturday looking for a coffee and this place had a relaxed ambience with alfresco dining tables on the sidewalk, some background music, they definitely had gone to some effort to present the place well. An ATM ate my card a few days prior so I had to explain (in English) that I would pay beforehand if possible as sometimes MasterCard was not accepted at payment terminals in Bishkek (presumably depending on the banking agreements of the shop/restaurants' payments provider). This was all fine and we tested payment, everything worked! Read moreThis place is one of the most overpriced and overrated places in the city. Wait time for some simple breakfast items can take 20-25 minutes, if not more. If you’re in rush and want to grab a quick bite, this is not an ideal place. Staff is friendly but they have no control over food prep / cook process. I gotta add it does get crowded there. IMO, the neighborhood has plenty of other better options. Although this is a coffee shop, most coffee drinks that I’ve tried here are not that great. The owners, however, need to review seating policy, as some tables for 2 occupied by 1 person with just a coffee for 2 hours. This means, you are losing potential food and drink money from others who could have taken the table for 1 hour and paid for lunch and drinks.
