DO NOT STAY HERE – AVOID AT ALL COSTS!||I’m writing this review to warn others about the nightmare I experienced at this property. I stayed here for 6 days because the price was non-refundable, and we were basically forced to stay. Trust me, you don’t want to make the same mistake.||1. Misleading Advertising and Hidden Fees||The hotel’s promotional material is a total scam. They heavily advertise a pool, gym, and other amenities that are not included in your room rate.||Pools and Gym: You’ll be charged RM10 for the pool on the 8th floor and RM30 for the rooftop infinity pool and gym. Even after paying, you might not even be allowed in if they say it’s at capacity. I was told multiple times I couldn’t access the pool I had already paid for.Additional Charges: A RM300 deposit is required upon check-in, which isn’t mentioned in advance.Parking: Costs RM15 per day to park your car, a high price for the condition of the property.2. Dirty, Unkempt Rooms||The room was nothing like what was advertised:||Dirty sheets with yellow stains on the pillows and duvet.Broken and deteriorating bathroom and kitchen cabinets.Filthy windows, covered in streaks as if they hadn’t been cleaned in months.Smelly bathroom, and the overall cleanliness of the room was subpar.3. Unprofessional and Unhelpful StaffThe staff were rude and unprofessional. Only one staff member, who wore a veil, was decent, but the rest were uninterested and dismissive.No on-site management to address issues. Everything has to be handled via WhatsApp, and responses are extremely slow.When I tried to make a basic request, I was met with attitude and indifference, which is unacceptable in any hospitality business.4. Unsafe and Poorly Maintained FacilitiesThe rooftop pool was not only dirty but unsafe. I got injured by something sharp in the pool, and when I reported it, the management refused to take responsibility. I had to seek medical treatment for a tetanus shot after being told it would heal on its own.The 48th-floor pool only had five sunbeds for the entire building, and they were in poor condition.Noisy environment: Despite “quiet hours,” I could hear constant noise from rooms above and beside mine, making sleep impossible.5. Terrible Location||This hotel is isolated, far from any attractions, restaurants, or shops. You’ll need a taxi to get anywhere of interest, and even ordering a Grab ride is a hassle. The property is also located near a highway, so there’s constant traffic noise.||6. Lack of Basic AmenitiesThe WiFi is slow, and there’s a broken chair in the room.There are no restaurants or cafes on-site, and there’s nothing nearby. You’ll need a taxi for anything you need, which adds inconvenience to your stay.7. No Housekeeping or Customer ServiceThere’s no housekeeping service during your stay. If you need fresh towels, they’ll just hand you a plastic bag with the towels inside.You’re expected to do your own cleaning and dishes.Final Thoughts: This Is NOT a Hotel – It’s a Scam!||This place is mismanaged, overpriced, and a total rip-off. The rooms are filthy, the staff is rude, and the advertised amenities are either unavailable or come with hidden fees. The entire experience was a nightmare, and I felt trapped due to the non-refundable booking. I strongly advise you to book elsewhere and avoid this place at all costs.||I truly regret my decision to stay here, and I hope my review helps others avoid this...

The service that was provided is abysmal. These guys do not know the meaning of customer service.
It was a busy day when I was checking an and had to wait over an hour to get my room key. That's understandable. While I was waiting to be served, a customer came down. The customer had booked 2 apartments for 7 people. They only had one towel. He came down for more, they provided him with one towel and said that they will provide the rest tomorrow and that he will have to make do. I was absolutely shocked by this.
I then got my room key and headed up. I got up to my room, for what you pay for, the room is of a decent size. However, the cleanliness is not great. There is a kitchen sink which looks clean but once I lifted the sink strainer, I found a rubber band a load of food waste/ gunk.
There was a TV but I didn't work. Well, it turned on but no channels. No channels because there was no aerial.
There was what seemed to be a router and a WiFi booster next to it but you're unable to connect to it.
A really funky smell in the bathroom. The bathroom was not cleaned properly either.
As it was busy, I waited a couple of hours for it to get quieter before I went down to complain. I came out of my room and saw housekeeping right outside my door. I told the guy all my points, he said that none of it (including cleanliness) has to do anything with him and that I should go talk to his boss. I would also like to point out that this was after he turned his back towards me.
I went downstairs and spoke to the My Key Global staff, they weren't much help either. They were also rude. The only thing that was done was the internet. Even then, I was provided with the login details for the room above. Although it worked most of the time, it kept cutting out.
I was supposed to stay for 3 nights but stayed only for one.
When I was checking out, the guy said that I'm supposed to stay for 3 nights. I said I'm leaving because the problems with the room, the problems not being addressed and the terrible service. He replied with "no problem". I told him that is a problem, and that they should be addressing the problems to better the product and service. He responded saying that "We're not a five star company, so customers shouldn't expect a five star service." I realised that there was no point talking to this guy any longer.
I asked to speak to his manager. He gave me a card, told me that the manager isn't in today and that I can reach him via WhatsApp.
My Key Global seem to host suites and apartments in Block B (which you have to go outside the building and round the back).
I noticed that people from Block A seemed very happy. On top of that, the team that manages Block A, iHost Global, were very helpful to me, even though I wasn't there customer.

I am writing to share my concerns about my recent experience at your establishment while preparing for my wedding on 20 October 2024.
Upon arrival, I was informed of a regulation allowing only four individuals to access the suite, a detail not mentioned on your official website. This posed significant challenges for us, as several essential service providers—including a makeup artist, photographer, and videographer—required entry during a critical time.
Although I understand the need for security protocols, I found the behavior of the security staff to be unprofessional. I attempted to negotiate for a brief 1.5-hour window from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM to allow our service providers access, but the head of security was unyielding and, unfortunately, his demeanor was dismissive rather than collaborative. Instead of working together to address our situation, he threatened penalties for what I felt was an infraction of rules that had not been explicitly communicated to us without any black and white.
I requested to speak with a manager to discuss these issues, but I was informed that management was unavailable at that time by the Head Security (Red Shirt)
I would like to commend the Girl receptionist on duty, who handled the situation with professionalism, attempting to provide clarity and calmness despite the stressful circumstances surrounding the conflict with the security head.
This entire experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed in the overall management practices at Expressionz Suites. Clear communication of policies prior to a guest’s arrival is essential, and I strongly recommend revisiting your communication practices to prevent similar experiences in the future.
After considerable commotion, the security chief left the situation unresolved. His confrontational manner not only diminished the special experience we were hoping to have but also contradicted the welcoming atmosphere your establishment advertises.
I urge management to investigate this matter and address the behavior of the involved security personnel. No guest should feel that their significant moments are overshadowed by the discourtesy of staff members.
Regrettably, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Expressionz Suites to others. I truly hope you will take this feedback to heart and use it constructively to enhance your guest experience and professionalism.
Once again, I would like to say that the girl receptionist on duty was very helpful and provided us with excellent advice. However, the head of security violated the policy because he wanted to punish me. I will not hesitate to bring this case to the consumer tribunal if he imposes such a penalty.
