This place makes me hangry. Like, really hangry. I’ve had Roti before, but this is the best I’ve had so far. Here’s how it works: You sit down anywhere. Order one of the roti they offer (there’s a ton to choose from, just ask for a verbal description of what they are). It will come on a metal platter with three sauces. They’ll give you a fork and knife, but just tear it with your hands, get messy and enjoy that succulent, delicious, delectable, flaky roti and sauces. There are three sauces and no choice. They’re all good though. They are yellow, red, and orange, presumably different types of curry. The red one looks spicy, but it’s just mildly so, if at all and actually kinda sweet. I ordered just one, which wasn’t enough. I ordered two other different items (not roti), which were good, but honestly the roti canai is perfect on its own. If you want one really decadent, get one with butter. You’ll feel super gluttonous and sexy eating it lmao. Get a beverage from the beverage vendor inside the restaurant. You’ll need to wash your hands. Head back past the grill and there’s a sink on the right. Get some napkins to dry your hands from the beverage vendor. Pay after eating. If you enjoy roti, this is a must visit in KL. Also the prices were dirt cheap. For two people I think we barely broke $5USD.

Those who knew the original roti Valentine from years ago can now come back and look forward to the light, crisp roti canai that was their signature before the intervening years just pre and post Covid of heavy roti and soggy Maggi goreng. The roti is light and flaky again, and the mee goreng mamak and the tandoori chicken (believe this is new) are yummy. The Maggi / Indomie goreng could have a little more oomph or kick. The sup kambing went down well with the two men on our table. Teh Halia was gingery and they adhered to the “kurang manis” asked for. Roti tissue was good too though the one on a neighboring table was enviably 50pc taller than ours. Service was very good, much better than previously. Keep it up!

One of the few Indian places near Kampung Bharu. Their roti canai tends to be dryer, not as oily as some. It’s a preference. And Every one has their preference for sambals and dals. Some prefer more Malay style, but I like theirs. I love a good dosa masala. I think theirs is good, but I prefer mine a golden brown, and 2 out of 3 times I was there it tended to be only slightly browned. Today it was better. The nicely dressed lady there today seemed more attentive than other times, and very helpful and friendly. I’m not sure if she was an owner, but a nice warm presence such as hers adds a lot to the place.

Came here because of the high reviews but the food was mediocre. The Indo mee goreng was bland and slight oily. The roti canai was crispy and tasteless. Only caveat is that it wasn’t oily. The fish and chicken curry were diluted and bland. The Thosai rawa however was good as they added some vegetables to it. But the dalcha was also bland. Drinks like teh tarik was okay but the milo was too sweet. Place was clean and its a standalone restaurant. Service was also great as the staff was nice. It’s just unfortunate the food is not up to par with the reviews given.

Its been perhaps a decade since I came here. I was one of the loyal customers back when they were just a tiny stall. But I digress. The roti used to be the best. Now no longer. It is too crunchy where it just breaks into crumbs when you try to tear a piece. Its very sad that the food is disappointing nowadays. To not end the review on a sad note, I will paint a picture of the original roti valentines. The roti was paper thin that it is translucent. Layer upon layer of crispy roti. Honestly, it could even be mistaken to be a croissant.

Been eating here since forever. Basically grew up here 🤣🤪 family gathering also everytime here (cheaper edition). Their Roti Tissue is da bomb 💣!!! However, limited parking space, very limited parking space... We always so lucky to park just in front of the kedai but that depends on luck.. Everything so sedap, they also have beriani, sup kambing 🐐 and many other different foods.. go there and try.. location strategic, near the main road (just beside spare part car shop and perodua shop if I'm not mistaken.. all satu jalan).
