A Malaysian specialty the pasar malam (night mart). This one is located at Tmn Ipoh Jaya (Gunung Rapat). Operate every Monday night from 5.30pm. This is a mostly Chinese area so it's not surprising that most stalls are of Chinese ethnicity. There are Malay stalls too but the majority caters to the Chinese. A wide variety of street food is available. Among the more unique ones are stinky to fu, paper wrapped braised chicken, pandan coconut apam balik and bak chang. Prices are reasonable. Lots of common pasar malam goods. Seasonal goods like durian also available. Crowded place especially during festive seasons.
