Seafest Jetty 海丰码头 — Local services in Sabah

Shoot off to Seaventures Dive Rig, and many other different dive resorts on Mabul or Kapalai. Good central location with lots of shops nearby and hotels too. Some parts of the jetty are quite slippery so take care especially if wearing flip flops or during bad weather when embarking/disembarking. Unfortunately the public toilets were extremely filthy with a strong smell of urine. And a lot of rubbish inside the toilets. Should be better maintained since this appears to be a main departure point for tourists to many luxury hotels and island destinations....

The jetty area is decent for boarding and unloading, but one major drawback is the lack of shower facilities. After swimming or water activities, it’s inconvenient not to have a place to rinse off.

While the location and access are fine, adding basic amenities like showers would make the experience much more comfortable...

management should look into the blocked public toilet and overall cleanliness and upkeeping of this area. despite this jetty being used as the point of landing for all the luxury bungalow/chalets/resort...
