Starbucks Semporna — Restaurant in Sabah

I just want to say a very big thank you to the staff named Najmie. I accidentally left my backpack at Starbucks and only realised it while I was at the airport, on the way flying back to KL. I was very nervous that I wouldn’t get it back and I contacted my travel agent immediately to help but they said asked help from Starbucks staff. I contacted Starbucks Semporna the next day and Najmie was really super helpful to help me send my backpack back to west Malaysia. He even helped me to pack my backpack in a box, printed out my airway bill and dropped off my parcel at Pos Office. 30 myr for the 3 most basic coffees. This is basically pure luxory, I feel ashemed for having purchased this. I am simply paying for an overpriced coffee some americans only because they paid enough for having a store in front of the beach (spoiling somehow tranquillity of the view). If you can, get a standard coffee from local shops. You will save lot of money and also save Semporna from the bad globalisation. Should I write this here? Probably not. Will it save the world? Not for sure. If you think I should just shut up; I agree.

Btw, everyone leaves dirty on the ground and everywhere, lots of chips empty packages flying into the water....

This Starbucks is always filled with tourists waiting for their ride, either it is leaving with boats to go to the resorts or with automobile to go to the airport. I would have given this place 4 stars, but for both times that I was here the bathroom was closed for repairs, days apart. They should have just made a policy to limit bathroom use to customers only. Instead, everyone have to use the toilets in the back of the mall next door on the second floor.i get that this is the most comfortable sitting area...
