“Simple & Comfortable” We stayed at the Family Room of this hotel for 4 nights.
It has simple amenities like toiletries, standing showers, in-room toilet with a wash basin. The room (including toilet) has beautifully tiled floor which ease the cleaning.
The family room has 1 queen bed and 1 single bed, comfy beds and I had good 4 nights sleep. (Roughly the size of 2 superior room in this hotel.) The single bed is right behind the lift but we don't here any significant noise.
This room doesn't has it's own balcony, but there's a balcony just right next to the list with clothes hang dryers. There are twin rooms opposite our room which has see view and balcony but pricier.
There is a huge 2 HP GREE air cond in this room is which quite noisy. The room is sufficiently lit. There's a console table/shelf with a wall hanged LCD TV, small safe deposit box, coffee making with mugs, electric kettle, free water, free wifi-acceptable speed, an in house phone.
There are 2 power sockets at each side of the room, making it total of 4, sufficient to charge our phones and cameras.
There are a few rooms at the end of the corridor which has a clothes hang dryers right outside the windows but without a balcony. Clothes are blown away when the wind blows, saw one just hanging at the right at the edge of the wind blocker underneath the clothes hang dryer-but to the extend that irretrievable.
Breakfasts are included in my booking via Agoda, and the breakfast voucher needs to be collected via the reception every morning. Breakfast are Asian set breakfast with coffee & tea.
The hotel is also near to Pharmacy: Guardian (1 min walk) and Watson (3 minutes walk), Giant Supermarket (5 minutes walk), plenty of seafood restaurants around, just a very short stroll away.
The luggage storage service is just a small open area next to the reception. The reception ensured us that it is safe. (well, everything was there upon our return...
Read moreLobby was nicely decor. Look welcoming and neat. For my stayed, I booked a room with balcony facing the sea with a price RM270++ per night, queen bed.. The room a bit small, a bit cramp I would say but still comfortable. For muslim to perform prayer in the room might be a little uncomfortable due to tight space but it still can be done. I was a little upset with the room given to me, the tiles had came off from the floor, so when walked or step on it, i make hollow sound and cements came out the opening, and I had to walk carefully to avoid the tiles sharp edges. Shower was nice, water pressure is strong. Very clean toilet I would say. All amenities are in good conditions. Overall i give 3.5. Location also near with jetty, shops,...
Read moreI didn’t really stay at this hotel but paid a visit when I was in town. The staff there were very friendly and showed me a couple of rooms as I requested. It is definitely in better condition than the Inn2 I stayed in. It is the newest among the three Sipadan Inns, at a better location, especially if you go to Mabul with Scuba Junkie, very close to their office and their jetty. Thought to let travelers know as I didn’t see any comment when booking hotels in Semporna. It is a tiny seafront town, everything close by but those narrow, car-lined streets are not that easy to walk through if you carry luggage...
