Playa Camarones — Attraction in Jalisco

This beach is hard to swim at during the day because of where the waves break it is uneven and very rocky. Rubber slip on booties/shoes make it easier for going in and out of the ocean. The best time to enjoy this beach is before 9 am when the water is calm. Before 9 a.m. it is GREAT for Paddle Boarding, Swimming, Kayaking, etc. This beach also offers Horse Back Riding on the beach in the mornings. There are a couple of choices in restaurants right on the beach. Table, chair, umbrella rental for the day also available. I loved it .. watch videos before I came here.. they all said that the water was cold. Little bit but not really it was warm to me and I live in the Philippines mostly. I thought it was rather pleasant. There was sand nice grainy sand leading into the water. But once and there's pebbles and rocks so it's best to just kind of swim over the top of those. Wonderful public (and dog friendly!) beach for locals and tourists alike. Comprised of both rocks and sand, and many vendors that walk past all day, you can rent chairs, umbrellas and tables here (or bring your own) and watch they day go by in front of the big surf.
