This beach is hard to swim at during the day because of where the waves break it is uneven and very rocky. Rubber slip on booties/shoes make it easier for going in and out of the ocean. The best time to enjoy this beach is before 9 am when the water is calm. Before 9 a.m. it is GREAT for Paddle Boarding, Swimming, Kayaking, etc. This beach also offers Horse Back Riding on the beach in the mornings. There are a couple of choices in restaurants right on the beach. Table, chair, umbrella rental for the day also available. Easy access from the main road Hwy 200 inspite of the construction going on in this area. Plenty of free parking and a good beach to...

I loved it .. watch videos before I came here.. they all said that the water was cold. Little bit but not really it was warm to me and I live in the Philippines mostly. I thought it was rather pleasant. There was sand nice grainy sand leading into the water. But once and there's pebbles and rocks so it's best to just kind of swim over the top of those. Can't really help it sometimes when the tide is out. Overall experience of the beach, being that I lived in Waikiki in Clearwater Florida. I think this is not far behind. You add the cost of housing and it's a...

Wonderful public (and dog friendly!) beach for locals and tourists alike. Comprised of both rocks and sand, and many vendors that walk past all day, you can rent chairs, umbrellas and tables here (or bring your own) and watch they day go by in front of the big surf. Swimming is sometimes tricky, so watch for the lifeguards flags. Many restaurants and streetside taco stands are nearby. Most activity is in front of Mangos restaurant with volleyball, music, seadoos and parasailing, and the remainder is...
