Taking a holiday in PV my wife and decided to try a few dives with different dive outfits, based purely on prices they had to offer as they all pretty much dive the same sites but the prices vary. We walked to the marina and spoke with the lady in the ecotours dive shop who was both very knowledgable but also very helpful. We decided to book for a dive to El Morro the following day, which was ultimately with Twin Dolphins divers, from the moment we met with the guys at the pier they excelled with their customer service, knowledge and desire to help. The dive site is a long way off shore but these guys are slightly more competitive with their prices than others so we had no problem in paying more for ElMorro than say Los Arcos. The dive is restricted to experienced certified divers and it was pleasing to see our cards checked before we departed (we are both PADI Rescue with around 400 dives each), some other divers on the boat were less experienced but they were very well catered for and the groups of 8 of us split into two groups each with a guide (we had Ivan the other group Lesley) Ivan was a superb guide, giving us a detailed, informative briefing and reinforced that the number one rule was that if anyone at any stage felt uncomfortable we could abort no questions asked and without hesitation, he took time to ensure we all descended safely and in our group he frequently carried out ‘safe and well’ checks and probably new better than us us what air we had as he frequently checked on us. We did two dives on El Morro, both excellent dives catering for those that want a little more than shallow easy holiday diving - having said that, this was not a technical dive that should deter anyone with 50+ plus dives and an Advanced Certification. Having dived all over the world my wife and I would both put these at the top end of a dive outfit - well done guys keep u...
Read moreWe are from England with nearly 400 dives each but just got back into it after a few years away so i had a few nerves which quickly disappeared after meeting the team. Fantastic dive team from the main man Gio to Tony the Captain and Ivan and Lesley the dive guides. Really professional and safe set up, bring your certification as you can't dive without it which is absolutely right. We were really pleased that they asked about our experience and how many dives, it showed that they were really catering for all their guests. Amazing dives at El Morro and Las Marietas Islands but not for the inexperienced divers as the currents are strong. Totally recommend Twin Dolphins and we hope to come back and dive with you all again. Just remember my pineapple Ivan I need it for equalising my ears and don't forget the...
Read moreToday's 2 dives to Los Arcos underwater National park were magnificent. We saw the most fish I've seen in my more than dozen dives. To top that we also saw a mature moray eel, a turtle, and a gigantic manta ray. Greeted warmly by the story-telling owner Giovanni, we taxied over to the port to board the boat. The water was warm today, no suit was needed. I expressed my concerns about being a novice to Dive Master Ramses, who took good care of me and the others in our group, Natalia and Peter. Captain Tony handled the craft like an expert, expressing concern but joking that the "fish didn't mind being fed"when the chop clearly started to get the best of me. Highly recommend the experienced gang at...
