We took the Marigalante day time tour and I can recommend this tour enough, it was absolutely amazing. It started at 9am, the welcoming was great, on time and organized. Our pirate host was Max and he was extremely helpful, friendly, and always paying attention to our needs. The tour ran from 9am to 5pm, breakfast was great, you get two options Mexican or American both are great. After breakfast you will get some different shows for adults and kids and the pirate show. Then they take you to a beautiful island Majahuitas, kind of like a virgin island where you will have your own seats and umbrella to enjoy the views and some more activities in the beach (snorkeling, banana ride, volleyball, soccer, treasure hunt, etc). After 2 hours you will get back in the ship and then time for lunch and what a lunch. I ordered the lobster and steak plate and it was delicious. I forgot to say that you will have open bar, all drinks, so get ready to get drunk, if you like to drink. After lunch, you will be heading back to Vallarta but there more shows while doing it. It is definitely worth the money and the service is amazing. Definitely 5 stars and we worth leaving the guys a tip for their hard work. I would definitely do it again whenever I am back...
Read moreOur family booked this Marigalante-boat for the day tour and a nightmare started...: It was horrible the metallic stairs that were used to disembark at the beach broke while people were being transferred to the beach, extremely dangerous and a miracle no one was hurt. A group of already tranfered people at the beach could not be returned by same boat and they did not get the offered lunch and free drinks that they paid for. The rest of us at the boat waited with children and babes for a nightmare, some people already sea-sick and others start to feel sea-sick, started vomiting at the restrooms creating a hazard for all because cleaning of such fluids was poor. The goal for all was to enjoy the beach and take the trip is such boat but they don’t return right away instead they prolong the at sea- nightmare. After returning almost all people wait for the owner which did not appear after 1hr,when he already knew the situation. We requested and they agreed to re-paid all of us the promised tour that was never delivered. To make the inputs short: Maintenance of a old boat in question, plans in case of an emergency zero, quality and ethics of the company and owner in doubt and we are still waiting for...
Read moreOn Dec 27 , 2016 we booked a day tour and we were supposed to go to to the beach for water sports and a time at the beach. Unfortunately this never happened because the "only one ladder" to disembark the boat broke while some of the people were stepping onto the smaller boats, I think it was a miracle no one gut hurt. After almost 45 minutes of wearing the stinky life vests, they decided to tell us that there was not going to be a beach day and we had to stay in the boat for the rest of the tour. Most of the kids and adults on board got sea sick and the restrooms were all covered in vomit. After we came to the marina, we went to the office and waited for more than an hour for a manager to show up. After a not so pleasant discussion that manager agreed to reimburse, but I'm still waiting for my money back. It scares me to think about the kind of maintenance they do to this extremely old ship! Besides, I don't even imagine how are they going to react in case of an emergency or how they will respond after any significant incident. I absolutely advice you not to take your family to this...
