Digital Nomads, WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS GYM. I paid for a 1-month pass, using a terminal/machine. Unbeknownst to me and without my permission, they added my credit card to their system. Then, they automatically charged me on the first day of the following month without my authorization (I was leaving the country in 4 days). I immediately went to the gym but I was continually told that only Client Services could do something. After having no luck with reaching them by email, I eventually insisted that the gym connect me with Client Services over the phone - whereby that person told me he didn’t have the power to do anything as it was a different department. 4 emails, 3 gym visits, 2 calls and HOURS upon HOURS of time and stress has left me with no resolution. I still haven’t heard back from them and needed to dispute this charge with my credit card. This gym is TERRIBLE, especially for $140/month (in Mexico). Do not think you’re getting Equinox quality or service. The equipment is mediocre and there's absolutely no customer service. Buyer beware, these crooks can’t be trusted. I overheard a local arguing with them about the...

Cons: Expensive day pass. Almost $21 USD. I would expect to pay that in the US. Not saying they can't charge it, but it's a lot! Guy came up to me and called out my clothes. I have stretchy shorts that look like denim but aren't really denim. He was cool about it but I don't like gyms that don't trust you to dress yourself. Broken water fountain 1/3 the gym floor is dedicated to cardio devices. If you don't care about that the gym is a bit smaller than it looks. For example: the gym looks huge but in reality there's only one proper bench rack, and one non-smith squat rack. Most of the machines out on the floor are not free weight oriented but they seem decently maintained
The gyms busy and seems to be catering to a more upscale clientele, its not a powerlifting/bodybuilding vibe, so just know that. If it was near me and I lived here I'd probably get a membership if there wasn't a more stripped down, traditional lifting...
Read moreI came here today with the sincere intentions of joining the gym, bit my experience with Melissa was a complete turn off. She was assigned to show me around the gym, since I had never set foot in the place. Melissa did absolutely nothing except scorn me for taking a picture with my cellphone. She seemed like she wanted to arrest me or something, and seemed to be on a serious power trip because of her position there as an employee. The gym itself appeared to be very modern, and they had all of the workout equipment that I usually use. However Melissa didn't want to move away from her activities on her cellphone and she couldn't be bothered to explain the benefits that the gym...
