First time I stumbled upon this place was late at night, on my way back to airbnb, for some reason it just impressed me so much that I marked it for return visit. The subsequent visits confirmed my initial impression as my favorite spot in CDMX. It does not have fancy fountains or sculptures, not surrounded by impressive buildings or restaurants/cafes, the only pavilion in the middle needs some paint job frankly, but it oozes tranquility and civility. If I ever come to live in CDMX, I want to find a...

I was sitting here at night during my visit to México City and was searched by the local police. For no reason, they wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything illegal. They searched my backpack and asked for my identification, they found nothing. Apparently only the locals can enjoy the park at night without fear of being searched. Awful experience and the first time this has ever...
