My wife was talking about massages since the time we landed in Tulum. Unfortunately for us, the beach pricing is INSANE. I understand it's a beach view but seeing them massage people made us look elsewhere.

Carlos came highly recommended by many people and we decided to give it a try. He has many massage options, and offers them at his place or yours. Very convenient. We opted to go to his place and we were not disappointed at all.

The massage was affordable and my wife, and I, both got a 90 minute Signature massage. The signature is great if you don't know what you're needing. Carlos will work his magic, find the areas needed with the tension, and massage the pain away. There was one point where my wife thought Carlos was putting more pressure in one area than another. Carlos explained how much pressure he was putting and that that area was more tender/sore. So in one spot the pressure was fine, but the tender area felt painful. After explaining, he massaged the area multiple times, relieving her pain and leaving her feeling great.

We had to get our massages one after another, and I took a quick nap while my wife had hers. Carlos was nice enough, when I woke up, to offer me a bed to sleep on and water. His expressions did all the talking whilst he massaged my wife. That was very sweet of him and something I wouldn't have expected anyone to do. Carlos also gave us his number for any recommendations in the area.

All in all, the massage was super enjoyable, relaxing, and affordable. Carlos is a top tier masseur and an even better human being. Can't wait to visit again!!

Pro tip: if you guys are doing 2 massages back to back, let your wife or spouse go first. My wife was feeling bad it was over and then had to wait for me to finish up. So let your husband/spouse go first, enjoy your massage and head...

We did the massage mini course (I was the one learning and my wife received the massage) + one massage for me. Honestly, it felt like we were doing massage for the first time in our life. The wealth of knowledge that Carlos has is amazing + he was super thoughtful and generous with his time. He had a real rhythm which is very challenging to find these days. By that I mean he takes his time and make sure that you are following and understanding what he's saying. The course was rich in both content and practice. I learned the foundations of massage + Carlos' unique touches. He also gave us general tips on how and when to give massages for each other. Although, I gave my wife many massages before, now I feel way more equipped to give better massages. One more thing that was super helpful is my wife is pregnant, and Carlos taught me areas to avoid when giving a massage (generally but also ones specific to pregnant women). After we finished the mini course, Carlos gave me a one-hour massage and it was phenomenal. It felt like the massage worked on detoxifying my body which was exactly what I asked for. The price for the mini course was $130 US but the value is way more than that. Other places charge more and they don't have nearly as much experience and we thought that Carlos is super generous with his time and prices. If we had the capacity, we would give more tips.

What we loved about Carlos is that he is very approachable, considerate, professional and loving human being who truely cares about his craft and clients.

I came to Tulum with the intention to experience this magic place here but also do some inner healing. I had intensions to get some body work done so I can remove some blockages that were blocking me from feeling and crying. I automatically felt his great light energy when I met him. Carlos is an amazing gifted healer and therapist. He worked the emotions out of my body and I was sobbing so much on my stomach, snot and mucus dripping. He held space for me to feel safe to cry it out without judgement.

At the end of the 90min session, he channeled some messages for me about the things I was going through in my life. He knew about the heartbreak and my parents. I came here knowing that my dad is going to pass away some day and growing up with so much hate towards him from all of the abuse, Carlos confirmed that it was painful for my dad to fully express his love to me because he was broken inside. This brought so much tears to my eyes. We went deep with this session. Carlos knew everything without me saying a word.

It was so profound, it was another confirmation for me that I was on the right path. Wow. I haven't stopped crying and sobbing since our session and I must say Carlos is so gifted.
