IJz en So — Local services in Deventer

I was searching for something cold, maybe a coffee with ice and I am an English speaker but barista understood me. She proposed me an ice coffee. Initially I thought it would be a simple coffee with milk and ice but they put some syrup and cream on the top of the coffee. It was very tasty but the sugar or the syrup was a bit too much, I am not a fan of sweet things. But I came here for the starbucks and could not find it but I am happy that this place did not disappointed me. The service was top and location in the inside/outside looked very cozy for a simple coffee cafe...

I was trying my luck to see if I can find Alfredo espresso but they didn’t have them. I asked for a cappuccino. But the owner I think or the persons in charge googled it, made it and gave it for free! Sadly they didn’t offer it in the menu yet, but he hooked me! Ik kom hier vaker en was altijd tevreden maar nu miet me toch iets van het hart. Moest een uurtje op de trein wachten en ging dus koffie drinken met een gebakje erbij. De cheesecake was anders dan ik gewend was maar wel lekker.

Waarom 2 sterren voor de service: ik wilde warme melk bij de koffie - niet mogelijk. Ik bestelde daarna nog een thee maar verse thee was er niet en citroen al helemaal niet... 🤔

De 2 sterren voor de sfeer zijn voor de temperatuur in de zaak, ik schat hooguit 17⁰, niet erg aantrekkelijk om gezellig koffie te drinken. De serveerster trotseerde de kou met een dikke jas i.p.v. de verwarming aan te zetten. En ze mag ook nog wel wat bijleren qua klantvriendelijkheid... De Italiaanse muziek was...
