Two weeks of underwater exploration with Greg Laclé in Aruba not only plunged us into the heart of the Caribbean’s aquatic wonders but also stitched a fabulous tapestry of memories for my son and me. Greg, a maestro of the deep blue, orchestrated an experience that was equal parts educational and exhilarating.
Right from our first splash, Greg’s professionalism shone brighter than the Aruban sun. His guidance was akin to a sea turtle: wise, steady, and always navigating us towards the best spots. Under his watchful eye, my son transformed from a hesitant snorkeler to a confident diver, a testament to Greg's knack for nurturing underwater enthusiasts.
Each dive with Greg was like flipping through a vibrant magazine of marine life - the kind where every page surprises you with something more beautiful than the last. From the playful dance of the parrotfish to the elusive grace of the moray eels, Aruba’s underwater realm was a treasure trove that kept giving.
What truly set our experience apart was Greg’s personal touch. He wasn't just a guide; he was part of our underwater story. His humorous anecdotes, often shared during our boat rides, added a layer of warmth to the experience.
Greg’s commitment to safety was impeccable, yet he knew exactly when to inject fun into the mix.
The grand finale of our adventure was a visit to a sunken shipwreck, an eerie yet fascinating site that Greg narrated with the flair of a seasoned storyteller. Swimming through the ghostly remains, we couldn’t help but feel like characters in a grand oceanic saga.
In conclusion, our two-week diving journey with Greg Laclé in Aruba was not just a dive trip; it was a plunge into a world of beauty, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Greg's mix of professionalism, personal care, and humor was the perfect recipe for an extraordinary experience. We surfaced not only with a deeper appreciation for the ocean but also with a newfound bond as father and son. To anyone seeking an underwater escapade, Greg in Aruba diving is your man – just be prepared for experience of...
Read moreGreg and Cynthia were prepared to take us out to wherever we wished to dive on a Sunday no less. Their professional and personal approach and touch to ensure a safe and memorable experience was truly evident from the moment we met. Their slip and boat was conveniently close to the ships terminal, clean, safe and in perfect working order. Safety briefs were thorough ensuring we were all comfortable in the water was paramount in their approach. We dove two aircraft wrecks in a drift dive allowing us to experience a variety of challenges. Personal attention and improvement techniques were provided to increase our dive training for future dives. No need to look further. While many others offered a great service, once they saw we were arriving on a Sunday, they all bailed when Greg and Cynthia stepped up short notice. Much appreciated. Dive Aruba is the crew...
Read moreWe dove with Clive (the owner, operator) 4 times while on Aruba. Clive runs a small boat that can hold 6 divers. He has Nitrox available but we didn't use any. Clive is super friendly and will tailor a dive to your needs. A couple of the days there were rough seas, Clive came into calm waters while he changed the BCDs to fresh tanks. Clive is excellent as a dive master, he pointed out sealife we never would have seen! He is also flexible with his planned dive locations and will change them according to your needs/desires. Clive also lets you 'dive your profile' so you have more bottom time if you don't drain your air. We also dove with RedSail and we totally preferred to...
