We’ve been visiting Aruba Experience Cafe 4 years in a row because of its charm, menu, decor, and the staff’s professionalism. Never wrote a review before because of pure selfishness — I wanted to make sure I could always get a table when I visit.
But today I witnessed something that deserves to be shared. One of the patrons, apparently allergic to milk, drank two full cups of coffee before realizing it was cow milk. She immediately brought it to the staff’s attention, delivered a passionate 10-minute speech about her sensitivity to dairy, and stormed off to the washroom.
Upon her return, the manager, Gladis, approached her with an apology and compensated her for the beverage. This generous gesture somehow encouraged the patron to launch into a 20-minute speech — to Gladis, the staff, and everyone sitting outside — about her lactose intolerance and her deep emotional bond with oat milk.
Through it all, the professionalism of the Aruba Experience team was nothing short of excellent. They stayed calm, polite, and handled the situation perfectly, even while another privileged hippie decided that the entire restaurant needed to hear her medical history. (For the record, the allergy seemed to have zero impact on her lung capacity.)
The entire waitstaff and management at Aruba Experience Cafe could be put up against any top establishment and still come out on top. Always consistent with amazing service and healthy, delicious refreshments. Highly recommend — just beware of unexpected open mic nights about dietary...
Read moreIf you're looking to try South American flavors in Aruba, this restaurant is the perfect spot. The breakfast menu features a range of Venezuelan dishes that will transport your taste buds to the vibrant streets of Caracas.
The pabellon criollo, a staple in Venezuelan cuisine, is a must-try. The dish comes with shredded beef, rice, black beans, and fried plantains. The meat is slow-cooked with garlic, onions, and peppers, resulting in tender and flavorful bites. The black beans are well-seasoned and pair perfectly with the fluffy white rice. The sweet and savory contrast is enhanced by the perfectly fried plantains that add a crispy texture to the dish.
The arepas, a type of cornmeal bread, are another highlight of the menu. They're stuffed with a variety of fillings such as cheese, meat, and avocado salad. The bread is soft and slightly sweet, and the fillings add delicious notes of saltiness and creaminess.
The service at the restaurant is excellent, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and they're happy to help you pick the perfect dish. The restaurant also offers outdoor seating, which is ideal for enjoying the beautiful Aruban weather.
Overall, if you're looking for a taste of Venezuela in Aruba, this restaurant is a must-visit. The breakfast dishes are delicious, and the service is top-notch. Don't miss out on the pabellon criollo, arepas, and cahapas. They'll make you feel like you're in the heart...

The bald waiter with the beard, wasnt friendly at all. Pulled the door away from him and bumped into him even though he cleary saw our son there.
From the moment we entered the building we could tell they didnt like our son being there. We carried him.
Really sad!
Now the owner replied to my review, calling my son 'restless' and 'uneasy'. Very rude comment, he isnt restless or uneasy at all.
He is a 1.5 year old boy who wants to explore, just casually looking around and walking about. Wasn't obnoxious at any moment, maybe the owner needs a child lesson 101.
The table wasnt full of water, there were 4 napkins wet. We do regret that the salt went into the glass with water.
Some napkins fell on the ground, which our son picked up himself rightt after without any trouble.
A little wipe with a cloth wouldve cleaned up the table easily.
The waiter did see our son and bumped into him, slammed the door shut and pulled it away from him. We regret not saying anything at that moment, really sad if your staff treats a child like...
