Pepe Margo Distillery is a must-visit in Aruba:

My visit to Pepe Margo Distillery in Aruba was a truly delightful experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a wealth of knowledge about the distillery, the building, and the island's rich history, thanks to the insightful historic information tour provided by the staff.

The highlight of my visit was the exceptional rum and gin sampling session offered at Pepe Margo Distillery. The flavors were exquisite, showcasing the craftsmanship and dedication that goes into producing each bottle. What truly set this experience apart was the available historic information tour, which shed light on the original owners of the property and provided a fascinating glimpse into the distillery's past.

One aspect that I particularly appreciated about Pepe Margo Distillery was their non-pushy approach. Despite offering a range of products for sale, there was no pressure to make a purchase after sampling the spirits. This allowed me to enjoy the experience at my own pace and truly appreciate the artistry behind each drink.

I must give a special shoutout to Sammy, our knowledgeable host, who went above and beyond to ensure that our visit was memorable. Her passion for the craft and dedication to providing an informative and enjoyable experience truly shone through, making our time at Pepe Margo Distillery all the more enriching.

If you find yourself in Aruba and are looking for a unique and engaging distillery experience, Pepe Margo Distillery is a must-visit. From the fascinating historic tour to the exceptional rum and gin sampling, this hidden gem offers a one-of-a-kind journey into the world of spirits, all delivered with passion, expertise, and a touch of...

I dropped a pin on Pepe Margo weeks before I visited Aruba. And it was worth it! Upon walking in we received a friendly greeting. We explained that we were there for rum and this was our first destination after arriving and they were very excited to get us started on a tasting. I had the full tasting and was surprised by the quality of samples I tried. If I had more room in my luggage I would have bought many more. I wanted to have plenty to drink while on the island I actually came back the next day and bought 2 more bottles. Yes, it's good! Sammi was very friendly and knowledgeable in pouring the tastings and explaining how they are made. She also gave us a tour of the property as well. Albeit, the distillery is small she showed us the stills and the storage area as well as explain how they are planning to grow the business. After trying everything in the tasting I walked out with bottles of the coconut and aloe vera rums. The coffee rum was just as good, but limited luggage space forced my hand. After our tasting we walked down the street to a restaurant recommended to us where we had a great meal. All in all, it was a great way to start our first...

We stopped by Pepe Margo distillery and we were pleasantly surprised with the nice setup and ambience of this newer rum and gin distillery located a couple blocks from Royal Plaza Mall a nice shopping and tourist area in Oranjestad, Aruba. We were told that this is the only distillery in Aruba that distills locally on the island. The owner and staff were so friendly and educational. The aging process has started to have dark rum available and am looking forward to it being available in several months. We will definitely be back if we are able to visit the island again.
