Prikichi Food Center — Local services in Oranjestad (city)

Huddled in the corner of a back street, this is a lucky find... great prices and a little bit of everything...

impressive are the freezers in the back, also pictured, that house giant bags of frozen shrimp, local meats, and other frozen treats... large amounts of fresh produce and fruits, tons of canned goods, high end curling irons, its a multi-mix of retail goods...

Notables were the in-house made pastechi, beef sticks of some sort, homemade twisty bread pieces, and round hot dog...

This market only a couple of blocks from the Renaissance has all the essentials: bread, milk, bottled water, drinks, chips, canned goods, paper products, toiletries and a lot more. Don't remember seeing beer or wine or spirits but I wasn't looking. They also have a hot deli case with local favorites like pastechi (fried empanadas) and croquettes. Dollars accepted, change...

Making our way around the Ruba. We weretired and needed some snacks and a drink. And found this quaint little spa hidden right in the middle of everything, and they had everything we needed. It was a gem in the so glad we found it. So glad...
