Reduced to Clear - Hamilton — Local services in Hamilton

I've been here many times before in the past, and it's always been a good experience in terms of stock and service. However, yesterday was a different story. The prices did not seem to be as competitive as they have been in the past. Did a bit of price comparison and found some items cheaper at another supermarket. I'm sure there were still things cheaper, but I just noticed it with some of the things I was looking for. As for the service. I was annoyed that the checkout person chose to serve the person after me first. They were operating between the 2 registers, and they had just finished serving the person ahead of me and my sister and went to switch registers and the person behind us had just turned up and went to the other register. The staff member looked at us briefly as we were still standing there and then proceeded to serve the other person without a word of apology. Anyway, we left our things and exited the store. Some good bargains to be had. You definately need to know what things are worth in other shops to not get caught up in thinking it's a bargain just cause it's in a bargain shop! Not very big but still lots to choose from!

Good grocery store to visit once in a while, you might get a good deal. But for anything you should check the expiry dates. Yesterday I brought some items from there couldn't spot expiry in the store, at home when I checked it was well expired over (Yes Expired, not Best Before) 27 days ago, so they either placed it in the shelves expired deliberately or didn't bother to check shelves for atleast 30 days.
