I would advise not to order flowers from here unless you are picking them up yourself. I ordered a bouquet in advance for an event today requesting “all the colours of the rainbow”, specifically red, orange, yellow, purple and pink flowers with some greenery. The flowers were picked up by my partner and the bouquet only included 3 colours of flowers – pink, purple and yellow, and was about 50% pink. No red or orange at all. When I phoned to let them know, I was told that they had “low stock of colours” because it was a Sunday (I was not told when I ordered or at any point beforehand that there wouldn’t be any orange or red flowers available at all for today). They did offer to add in red and orange flowers if I brought the bouquet back but unfortunately it was too late to do this. They would not offer any sort of partial refund even as a gesture and said it looked “pretty colourful” already. Sorry, but I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect more than 3 colours to be included when ordering a “rainbow” coloured bouquet and they could have included a few red and orange flowers of literally any type. It was a $100 worth of flowers so the size of the bouquet/price was not a limiting factor. I honestly don’t care about the money, I just wanted the flowers to be at least close to what I ordered and I found them a bit dismissive when I pointed out the deficiencies with the bouquet. I’ve never actually left a negative review anywhere before but I’m very...

I had the misfortune of dealing with flowers on the hilltop recently, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. My partner ordered flowers on Tuesday for delivery to my workplace on Wednesday between 9am - 12pm, but the courier failed to show up. After numerous attempts to contact the shop, they conveniently decided to ignore our calls starting from 1:30pm.
When my partner finally managed to get through via email, instead of showing any empathy or taking responsibility for their failure, they had the audacity to blame us! Their excuse? Apparently, the delivery is "out of their control" according to their website. What a load of rubbish!
Not only did they fail to deliver on their time options, but they also lacked basic customer service skills by deflecting blame and refusing to take any responsibility. It's clear that they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction and have no qualms about treating their patrons with utter disrespect.
Save yourself the frustration and avoid flowers on the hilltop at all costs. Ruined my Valentine's Day suprise!! There are plenty of other florists out there who actually care about their customers and take pride in their service. This place is a disgrace to the floral industry, and I wouldn't wish their incompetence on my worst enemy. Steer clear unless you enjoy disappointment...
Read moreHello all. Went to this florist due to convenient location, near the place I was staying. At a first glance I was sceptical as there were little, if any bouquets, to choose from, and I'm a visual person. As it happens, this is an "ask and you shall get so much more than you ask for" kind of place. The florist, called Luke (I think) with 30 years experience, made a superb floral arrangement on the spot. It was quick, beautiful and within a budget. Recepient of the flowers loved it. I went back to the shop 4 days later to get another bouquet and it was just as an excellent experience. Thank you Flowers on the Hilltop, I shall be returning to your services. Wish everyone else a similar grant experience. P.S. these flowers set me...
