End Dec. 2023: I'm noticing averaging of prices to all items similar. They are no longer cheaper. Not always a pleasant environment to shop in, however it is generally a little cheaper for some basics.

I am annoyed that the Tuesday gold card discount is no.more.

Your prices do not now reflect the same savings as card members of Countdown and New World.

Incidentally. I dislike your current adverts which portray big, cold square spaces with no conveniences and too cheapskate to pay for improvements. Not a good look for would be customers!

The stickman spokes person on your adverts sounds more and more like a whining loser. Suggesting you are too miserly to pay for advertising! Really?!

As a former advertising rep. and journo I would query why the power of positivity is so lacking in your advertising.

I'm shopping there more infrequently unless I'm in a hurry and am down that end of town..

Feb. 1st 24. I took a needy friend shopping there on Tuesday. Found what I needed and waited in queue of 4 for checkout. Pleasant younger person, efficient and accurate at checkout. Thank you.

Following my shop I was able to sit at entrance and wait for my friend to complete her shop. Being very elderly I am grateful for the seat as it would have been uncomfortably hot in the car.

The store was a little tidier this week . I notice more pre packed take home,;heat and serve or salad type meals. They looked quite nice and the cold food area was well displayed. Good selection of fresh fruit and veges in store.

A nice addition to your cooked food area was the portions of hot roast pork. Nearby to the chickens etc. Useful for busy shoppers. E.g. Roast pork sandwich for lunch, following shop. Yummy.

Overall a happier shop this week than over past couple of...

The owners have forgotten it is customers that as a business they need to keep at their central focus. Items have been withdrawn from sale with others that benefit their profits. In my case here are products deleted from being stocked that I can no longer buy at Pak n save. Value 2 litre milk. Replaced with a 2 litre that is far more expensive. Eggs choice is now the owners not the customers. No cheap half dozen or dozen eggs as previously stocked. Pams shortbread biscuits. Deleted months ago now. We’re great but no option now. Cereal- Harraways porridge deleted and replaced with a more expensive option and not as good. Starbucks Sumatra coffee capsules. Sign is still on the shelf but not stocked for months. Other people will undoubtedly have many more of their preferred products that are no longer stocked. The icing on the cake is the withdrawal of the Gold card discount. I had to shop at two supermarkets to get my grocery supplies because of the owners focus on their own needs, desire for profit, and beliefs. A step to far is the gold card removal and my money will go elsewhere. Pak n save Is no longer looking after...

Was in Masterton for a weeks flying(sailplanes) out of Hood Airfield . Staying at a local motel (Acorn -a great place to stay) I ventured into the local PacknSave. Did not really enjoy my time there I have to say. Found things hard to locate and seemed to take forever to get to a self-serve check out . May be it was me in a totally new PACK n SAVE but nothing really' clicked 'for me during this visit .However lots of people there so it is a very popular place to do your grocery shop it seems . Next time I am down that way I should return and try to be more patient and more positive over my shopping experience . Overall the super market seemed to be quite tidy but price tags seemed to be out of alignment at times which probably did not help...
