Disappointing customer service. Went in and bought an item and went to the cashier to pay. Was standing at the empty cashier window and the cashier (young girl) was about to come to the window when she suddenly turned to attend another customer who just came in the door (apparently the customer wants to check on an order). So there I was - stood there waiting and waited a good few minutes before she came back to the cash register. I went into The Mad Butcher, Lower Hutt last weekend to buy some Scotch Fillet, all their packaged fillets were too thin so I asked the assistant if they could cut some more for me, I were directly to a fridge with whole fillets and told that I would have to buy the whole fillet, $68's, I agreed and explained that I wanted them cut 1 inch thick, I had to pay before they cut the meat, when I got the meat back it was packed, I never checked it until I got back home, it was sliced schnitzel thin, I didn't have a receipt, totally conned, I won't be going back there again, to say I'm peeved would be an...

Usually i get good deals and good service from here. I’m regular customer. But today I was told they won’t skin and cut the chicken in to pieces because it was on special. Kitchen service person was angry and rude to me when I asked for service for no reason. I returned the goods and got my money back. The cashier apologised and was very well behaved.
