Greymouth — Local services in South Island

Only there overnight as on the train. But we would like to come back and stay for awhile. We have visited many times just passing through, but it has more to offer. Did the Kowhai walk, enjoyed the birds who appeared interested in us as much as we were interested in them. Walked the main street. Was moved by the monument dedicated to miners who have lost their lives due to mining in the area. Stayed at Global Village which is a hostel, we had a private room. I would say its one of the best hostels...
