Turkish Kebab (Kebizza) — Local services in South Island

I'm from out of town and headed out to the OTHER Turkish kebab place but it was closed, so I started walking down the strip of shops and thankfully saw another Turkish place that was open! Ordered a mixed kebab and fries. Didn't have to wait too long for it although they were busy and I could see they were doing their best to keep up. Took my food back to my motel (the place is not very suitable to eat in). The food was delicious! The kebab was tasty, juicy, filling and a beautiful wrap used. Very generous with the sauces. I'm very happy....

The food is good, but the service could be better. If you order by phone, they often start preparing it only when you arrive, causing extra waiting time. It’s better to order in-store to avoid mistakes. My husband once went to pick up a phone order, but they said they didn’t receive it. The cashier didn’t acknowledge him even after the queue was gone, which felt unwelcoming. Also, when they sell food at the market, the portions are half the size but cost the same as in-store. Worst service ever. They were so busy chatting away that she got my order wrong. Told her I wanted rice she gave me wrap n even said that was what I ordered. Won't I know what I eat? Terribly disappointed. Spoilt my kids lunch n left them hungry. I won't even give them that one star. What poor service after kept waiting for nearly 30 minutes. They did not even give me a receipt.
