The South African Shop — Local services in Upper Harbour

I ordered a bottle of wine from this shop as a Xmas gift for my brother on 20 December. My brother lives 6 kilometers away from this shop. The wine was not delivered prior to Xmas, nor 2 weeks after Xmas. The shop responded to my several subsequent emails, but they are very happy to answer presale questions. My brother got sick and tired of waiting, so he went to the shop to collect it. The person on duty said it was the fault of the courier, which is doubtful as nobody responded to my emails. I have to date not been refunded my postage fees and to be quite frank, this is fraudulent.

This spoilt a Xmas surprise and the shop has taken no responsibility whatsoever. It seems judging by the other reviews they have a history of this type of thing and I fully intend reporting this shop to the NZ...

With Auckland being in level 4 and doing our bit to limit our movements it has made the longing for biltong unbearable so i decided to try purchasing from the online store and chose the pickup option. Within seconds I got the purchase confirmation from the easy to use website and by the next day received my txt notification just after midday that my purchase was ready to be picked up. I have to stress what an easy breezy super fast process this was. It will definitely be my go to method of obtaining our much loved South African products. Good shop to get imported products, big variety and friendly staff

Competitive prices on many of their products, huge variety of Biltong and Droe Wors including Chilli Bites, Hot Chilli Bites, Garlic Droe Wors, good quality and very enjoyable.

If you want lots of different South African products, it is a good place to visit. Come support the local businesses during these tough times.

Lots of new products available. Fresh meat available (sausage/wors) as well as Milk Tarts, Koeksusters, Peppermint Tarts etc.
