Arctic Seagull - Benagil Trips — Local services in Portimão

We booked Arctic Seagull for a tour of the caves along the Algarve coast, including Benagil. We had a wonderful trip! The scenery along the coast was stunning and the caves were spectacular. Our guide, Antonio, and our skipper, Miguel, were great. Antonio had a lot of interesting information to share about the various caves and beaches we passed on our tour, and we really appreciated his sense of humor. Miguel handled the boat super well and because it was low tide, he was able to maneuver us into some caves that would have been inaccessible at high tide and that many of the other tour boats just passed right by!

I was also impressed with the communication and responsiveness of the company before the trip. I messaged one of the agents, Nathalie, to confirm the directions on the TripAdvisor website were correct. She immediately responded and was very helpful. Because of a shift in the tides from the Mediterranean that brought a bunch of sea weed and algae to the region, Natalie told us the conditions would be very poor for the snorkeling part of our expedition. She offered to refund my group the cost of the snorkeling trip, so we only payed for the cave tour. The refund was accomplished the same day. Very efficient. I have absolutely no complaints about our experience and would absolutely recommend the cave tour and Arctic Seagull company...

Our private sunset boat tour at 7:00 PM was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to the Algarve! The experience was nothing short of magical. From the moment we boarded at the Marina of Portimão, we were treated to breathtaking views and an adventure through 20 stunning caves and beaches along the coast.

The tour was perfectly timed to catch the sunset, casting beautiful colors over the sea and the mysterious caves we explored. The highlight was definitely the Algar de Benagil, one of the most beautiful caves in the world. The interior of these caves is full of vibrant colors and awe-inspiring formations that left us speechless.

Our guide was fantastic, providing insightful information and ensuring we had the best views for photos. The small, low boats used for the tour were ideal for entering the caves, making the experience even more intimate and special.

Honestly, hands down one of the best experiences I've had. We booked a spontenous trip to Algarve and decided to do this. They called to arrange the time which was perfect for us, we met at their kiosk, they took us to their speed boat which takes 8 people which is great, some really friendly people. We went on to see all the caves along the coast, my fiance did the cliff jump which he didn't think he was going to do but loved it! We then went on to the snorkeling spot and they provided us with wetsuits, face masks and fins, which for me was perfect as I'm not the greatest swimmer, but the wet suits helped sooo much! We honestly had the best time, great views, wasn't too busy as you'd expect, we will definetly be doing it again with artic Seagull as couldn't fault them in the slightest! Price was very good considering the experience we had. If you ever come to Algarve, don't go without doing this with Artic Seagull, they were amazing and can't praise them enough.
