Senhora da Rocha — Restaurant in Portimão

The location was ideal as it was beach front. It was clean and well arranged. We went for dinner during summer and there was quite a bit of mosquitos. If you plan to visit for evening carry some spray. Service was worst, they took more than 30 mins to come to take order. There was no smile on the face. Very rude and quite in rush. However, the food was good though. We ordered Grilled Salmon and Prawn Curry and Grilled Chicken. Good portions and fresh. The Grilled Chicken we ordered took forever to come. We finished all the food and had no clue of our Chicken even after repeated calls. The fun part is yiu have to go to the counter to pay the bill in a fine dining restaurant. If you have enough time and patience to wait and keep chasing the staff for food and enjoy your meal for few hours it is good place....

Ever since my wife and I grabbed our first Magners on ice there and met the lovely owners it's our go to restaurant whenever in Pria Da Rocha. Staff never miss a beat and the owners and their family are the soul that makes this place so astounding. Don't even get me started on the food! EVERYTHING... yes! Every item on their menu is amazing. Uber compliments to the chef who could only be described as a culinary octopus (😉) in the kitchen. Even when the place is completely packed, your order comes out as if there were maybe 5 patrons. If you're ever in Pria da Rocha, you need to have at least 1 meal here and I guarantee you will keep going back.

Ive been at this restaurant for several times during my holiday, as much as the food is good , what makes the difference is the staff . Everytime we got there the staff recognized us, and super friendly and playful. We were a big party and sometimes hard to get a table as we were so many but they always managed to get us the table all together. To mention this girl that I didn't get her name I know I've asked her of she was from alentejo or algarve as her accent was very strong . She made our meals fun and nice.
