MOON&ME_SALON — Local services in Al Maathar Municipality

This was my second visit to the salon — I gave them another chance because they are a new establishment and close to my home, but I regret it deeply.

I walked in without an appointment, and at first everything seemed fine. The owner was kind and accommodating, and I was convinced to try their “trendy treatment” (ELASTIC KERATIN WITH GINSENG Treatment). The price was around 400 SAR, and I was offered a slight discount on styling, which initially made me happy.

The issue started during the actual treatment. The stylist applied the mask and left it on for 45 minutes — even though the manufacturer’s own instructions clearly state it should only stay on for 5–15 minutes. I’m currently afraid of what the extended duration might do to my hair.

To make it worse, the stylist began blow-drying my hair with the treatment still on. This raised major red flags for me, since when I discussed the treatment with the owner earlier, she specifically said it was a cold treatment. When I asked the stylist to double-check with the owner, she brushed me off repeatedly until I had to get up myself and ask.

Only then did another staff member intervene and confirm that the treatment should have been rinsed out before drying — and that I should not even style my hair that day. Keep in mind, I had already paid for a blowout. Instead, I left with barely dried hair and a lot of frustration.

What upset me most wasn’t just the mistake, but the attitude. The stylist never apologized or acknowledged the error. She simply glossed over it, leaving me both disappointed and disrespected.

To be fair, the salon itself is nice, the ambience is good, and the owner was polite (she even offered me a coupon for my next visit). But the lack of professionalism, training, and accountability from the staff ruined the entire experience.

Until they hire and train more professional staff, I would not recommend this place if you care...

اسوء صالون قد رحت له في حياتي كاملة

ماحبيت انزل الكلام في قوقل مابس بس يوم تصرون تطلبون مني عنوان بيتي وتكلموني ٣ ايام ورا بعض عشان ارسل لكم اللوكيشن ويوم ارسله حرفياً مادري وش الفايدة ولا وصلني اي شي

لكن،،،،

التجربة كانت اكثر من سيئة بل الاسوء على الاطلاق

ماقد بحياتي رحت صالون وتعاملت نفس المعاملة

طلبت خدمتين ماسك ترطيب وسشوار ويفي

الماسك دفعت فيه ١٢٠ ريال ودفعتوني زيادة ٢٥ ريال عالغسيل

الاخصائية اول ماجتني وقفتني ٥ دقايق مو عارفة وش تسوي وملخبطة تحسب موعدي اظافر مو غسيل واخذتني الجهة الثانية بعدين رجعتنني للمغسلة بعد ما قالو لها اني غسيل

ما حطت لي منشفة على ظهري انا قلتلها وين المنشفة مارفعت لي الكرسي الا يوم انا قلت لها

واضح مافيه اي خبرة او تدريب او احترافية حطت الشامبو بشعري وفركته وغسلته

بعدها

حرفياً : حطت الماسك على شعري بدون تمشيط بدون مساج بدون اي شي بس حطته ولا حتى وزعته على الاطراف ولا الجذور ولا شي حرفياً كاني انا حاطته بنفسي ببيتنا ولا مشطت شعري

وتركتني وراحت ولا علمتني كم وقت الانتظار ورجعت بتغسله الا نادوها تمسك زبونة ثانية اظافر

حرفياً اول مرة بحياتي اشوف نفسها الي تغسل هي نفسها حق الاظافر واول مرة اشوف عاملة ماسكة زبونة تنادونها وتترك الزبونة وتروح لوحدة ثانية تبدأ معها خدمة جديدة

جت الكوفيرة غسلت لي شعري تسليك ولا مشطته

يعني دفعت ١٢٠ ريال على بس انها طلعت الماسك من العلبة وحطته براسي؟ حرفيا؟

الكوفيرة من دخلت الصالون وهي تقنع فيني اخذ تريندي بذال الترطيب بس عشان زيادة الفلوس

والخدمة من الاساس ما تسوا ٥ ريال الصراحة

جت تسشور لي وطبعاً ملاحظة انه الشعر مو ممشط هل مشطته؟ لا كملت تسشور واذا فيه عقد فكتها بفرشة السشوار باعنف من ما يكون

يعني غير الالم والتجربة السيئة تقصف الشعر برضو🌟

انا ساكتة طول هالوقت مانطقت بكلمة لا للاخصائية ولا للكوفيرة ولا للاستقبال

لاني كنت باعطيكم نجمة وانزل كل الكلام هذا في قوقل

بعد ماعورتني مرة وتكلمت جلسو يراضوني وتعالي ثاني ولكي ماسك مجاناً

الواحد بس يرجع لمكان يرجع لانه حب الخدمة مو لانه كرهها وبس عشان يعوضه ويسكتوه

اسعار غير منطقية على خدمة لا تتطابق مع الشي الي دافعة حقه

ستاف غير مدرب وغير محترف

والكوفيرة جلست تتعذر وتوريني اصابتها وتوريني اللصقات اذا عمالتكم تعبانين ليش تخلونهم يداومون؟ قلتلها خذي اوف خذي سك ليف ليش جاية؟ ليش ماقلتو لي اول ماحجزت ودخلت ترا تعبانة مارح تقدر تحط ماسك او تسشور؟

وعلى فكرة السشوار الويفي ابو ١٥٠ ريال مو ويفي حرفياً فك كله كاني مسوية ستريت

اسوء خدمة في صالون قد مرت علي بالسعودية كاملة وصعقت جداً لان الصالون مرة شكله مرتب ومتعوب عليه

مستحيل اكررها كنت بانزل لكم تغطية في سناب ولكن سحبتها لان مافيه اي شي ينمدح ولا استمتعت ولا اي شي زين غير انه...

I had an amazing experience at Moon & Me Salon! I booked a Moroccan bath with Fatima, and she was absolutely incredible. It was my first time trying it, and she made it such a relaxing and refreshing experience—I highly recommend it to everyone!

Also, I had my hair colored and styled by Malk, and the results were stunning. She really delivered beyond my expectations.

The customer service from Fatima, Malk and Nada was exceptional. The staff was so welcoming, professional, and attentive. I left feeling pampered and extremely satisfied.
