I had horrible experience at the Carrefour store where I stood in the check out line that states 10 items or less and cash payment. I had 4 items only but there was a guy with 40 plus items in his trolly who was pushing out a guy in front of me with about 6 items. We tried to explain to the guy that the sign said 10 items or less however he would not listen and was threatening to hit us. We called for the supervisor and two people showed up. One of them asked us to proceed through the line as we had less than 10 items while the other told cashier not to take us at all. I called for the manager and explained the behaviour of the customer as well as the supervisor and the manager asked cashier to process our items but at that time the supervisor had already removed our items and had sent them back on the floor for restocking. Manager then explained to us that the sign for 10 items or less was only for the store staff. This explanation was shocking to us. It is good that the store provides such a good facility to its staff but what about the customers- do they not deserve this service especially during the peak time? Staff can do their purchases any time and especially during the non peak period but allowing someone to bring cart full of 40 plus items and let that person who is not staff push others with less than 10 items out and have store supervisor support that guy to behave like that is unbelievable. Long history with this mall, middle of Jeddah in price Majid street between Ghirnatah road and altahlyia road. Place is vey big and huge cause you will city max and splash as well as a lot of brands. Parking area is incredible front and back up and down is surrounding everywhere. Location is amazing and mostly crowded. Majority customers are Pakistan and Indian and they are very kind and friendly people. They have inside the mall every thing you can need, especially every Wednesday and Thursday and Friday they have good promo and real. Prices are good not expensive and fear enough. Also mobile shop weekly either monthly they have promo for cellphones. Fishes area and meats also vegetables area. Clothes shops, electronics shops and home accessories also. Upstairs second floor you will find many shops to buy Abayas and toys shops for kids. Pakistani and Indian shops also. There is Pakistani restaurant with mix foods and price is good also. They are making open buffet daily. Also parks for kids with good prices compare to other malls and they are making promo each Wednesday for good sale for games and kids area.
