Village Take Away — Local services in Praslin

Most authentic food we have eaten so far on Praslin and La Digue. I actually took a second portion, the food was soo good, I couldnt miss to eat again - as earliest next opening was on Monday(we were leaving on Sunday), we were there on Saturday evening. Check for opening hours as the place is open only for couple of hours and not every day. It is really popular within locals as well, if u don't come ealy enough, they might run out of some of their dishes. Definetly worth...

This is a small food joint which brings to you a mix of the local Creole cuisine along with a touch of chinese too. This place is very famous amongst both locals as well as tourists. During our stay in Praslin, we had at least 1 meal from this place every day and never felt disappointed. Budget friendly meals with a decent takeaway packaging and loaded with heat, is all what kept us coming to this place over...

In our week in Praslin, we hunted for the best street food experience and ate in pretty much every 'takeaway' and food truck we could find.

Village Take Away become our clear favourite and ended up going there several times. The prices are very reasonable, but the food is just really good, at any price.

For a little extra kick, ask for their fresh chili sauce to be added for the curry....
