Manzo Steak & Burger — Local services in Žilina

Been here a few times over the past 3-4 years and as others have pointed out, quality has been going down hill. The last time my fiancé had the tagliatelle with peas and it had no taste. Giving the place the benefit of the doubt we came back and we shouldn’t have. I ordered the “Premium” burger, the bun looked overcooked but was wet underneath, there was so much sauce you could hardly taste anything else. The fries were soggy and not salted. Making good fries is a basic skill, you cook them in beef tallow twice, add salt and you’re done. For god’s sake, include the sauce with them. You shouldn’t have to pay extra for some mayo or ketchup. My fiancé ordered the Manzo tagliatelle this time and again what a dissappointment. The sauce was acidic and watery. Ok, it’s a wine base sauce with onions but taste what you prepare and choose a better wine. By the way we were the only people there on a Saturday afternoon, so it’s not like there was a lot going on in the kitchen. In the end we got 10% of the bill, but Manzo seriously needs to get a grip and improve or close its doors for the good of...

Very tasty food. Good wine and nice atmosphere. The stuff was also very friendly. Would recommend!

Sadly I have to change my whole opinion. My second visit was a disaster. The restaurant didn't serve hamburgers anymore. (because the buns were still frozen and it would take to long...) they only had 3 kinds of steaks left. Also the wine that we wanted to order was no longer provided. Two stars for good tom yum soup and for willing to change my burger meat.

Tom yum was fine. Waiter had really hard time to know what is inside of which burger and what is inside of dips. Do not eat burger, it was not medium as asked, but dry as hell. Asked for IPA special written on the wall,did not have it (old season beer info). We adviced waiter to wipe it down, if it is not valid info, Still written on the wall hour after when we were leaving. Legends say, that it is written there...
