HOTEL BOSS — Hotel in Žilina

My brother and I stayed here for two nights during the week whilst following our local football team who had been drawn against MSK Zilina in the Europa League. The club we supported brought over 65 fans, of which four stayed in Hotel Boss.||||It is located around ten minutes from the train station and a simple 1-2 minute walk to the main square where various bars and restaurants are available.||||The check-in process was quick, informative and easy while the rooms were of a good basic standard with a good amount of space and high standard of cleanliness. Our only gripe would have been the heat of the room, but as we were on the first floor (one level up) we simply opted for the window being opened.||||The staff were friendly, even when we arrived back in to the hotel at 6 am. They served us soft drinks and even gave us matches to have a smoke outside. ||||Nothing was too much hassle and along with the very competitive pricing and having heard some horror stories from other fans who stayed at different accommodation in Zilina, should we ever return, we will definitely stay in Hotel Boss if it is available at a similar, fair price.||||Zilina itself was very quiet however I found the people and the area's quiet and unassuming nature very enjoyable and welcoming along with some very nice bars and...

During the lunch menu the waitress forgot about our table, after long time he came back and asked again what we ordered. After that he brought dessert at our table - as the first thing :D .Then we waited for soups for another 10 min - so we were really hungry and ate the desserts before the soup came. Another waitress came in the meantime and asked whether we already ate the main course :D we said that we are still waiting for the soups :D . Meal was average. Nothing special, not even tasty and the salad...

Stayed here recently for a wedding. Nice large family room with a great shower in the bathroom, perfect for unwinding and getting ready. The staff here were really friendly, went the extra mile with me still learning the language and sometimes coming out with odd replies or requests. ||||Breakfast was included and was very nice and fresh, particularly the bread. ||||The hotel is also siutated in the heart of downtown so it takes mere seconds to walk and you are in the central square filled with other...
