I was pressed for the bathroom early this morning. So I thought to use the ones there. I get to the toilets and there is no toilet paper, I realise it’s still early and they haven’t gotten to it. However, I hear the cleaning service lady outside so I ask her for some. She says she’ll put them just now. When you are pressed just now won’t really cut it. I resort to going downstairs and buying one. On my way back, I can already hear her with what I imagine is her superior, talking “he asked for toilet paper, I couldn’t give him in hand(kinda makes sense), he must be some kind of Druggie, he wanted to leave with it. Their tomatoes last almost a week before going wrinkly. Their Grabouw sausages are great and their lean mince are actually lean!!
My only gripe about Kensington square is the fact that people park along the road in front of the shops even though it's clearly demarcated as a NO PARKING zone. Coming out from the Spar parking is like running a gauntlet. Big SUV's and bakkies are parked right next to the exit and hence you can't see oncoming...
