KAUAI Durban North — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

Decided to take advantage of the FNB app concerning Kauai. U can get smoothie large, small or a wrap or a warm drink for free. We rush off to Dbn North branch and the lady was busy putting chairs inside the store but we asked if we could still get service and she said yes. So we grab our cellphones out and start looking for our vouchers. We asked the lady behind the counter if she perhaps knows how the vouchers work and she said straight no. She is aware of it as people come in often and do it she says. No enthuasium to offer or effort afforded. She tells us we can redeem all our vouchers which is not the truth. Doing us a favour. We ended up with one wrap and one smoothie between two of us due to her error. Will not return to that...

Food was amazing. They are really constantly short on staff, waited 35min for a simple wrap. It's not the first time, I've previously cancelled my order and went to the coffee shop next door. There were other customers who weren't happy with the wait this time around. Fortunately, the staff are hard working and really try their best to keep customers happy, considering what their management has them working with. I stuck around and waited and...

Super cramped seating and took 30 mins to get a smoothie because they forgot to make it. Other people seemed to get their orders in good time, so seems it was just us. Some of the staff are unhelpful and not friendly at all, which affects the overall feel of the place. Shout out to the helpful lady who helped with the smoothie story, making it herself even though it wasn't her job.
