Pick n Pay Hypermarket Klerksdorp — Local services in Matlosana Local Municipality

We went to Klerksdorp on Friday 14 March 2025 to buy a lawnmower. We planned to shop around at Pick n Pay, Game and Builders. We first went to Pick n Pay and found a Ryobi lawnmower for R2999.00 which was a very good price. We decided to take the lawnmower as we did not think we would get a better price. When requesting to put the only Ryobi lawnmower which was left and on display, we realised that there was parts missing like the bottom part of the handle, the grass bin at the back of the lawnmower as well as the original box for the lawnmower. At one stage, one of the managers, a Mr Faruk also assisted us, took a photo of the barcode and dissapeared, never to be seen again. The staff on the floor was very helpful and friendly and apologized, but unfortunately it does not solve the problem. Then they wanted to take parts from other lawnmowers to add to a already new lawnmower which is supposed to be complete. They also wanted to call us next week when they can assist us with another Ryobi lawnmower, but we do not stay in Klerksdorp and we do not need one next week. We needed a lawnmower immediately. How do you display something on the floor if it is incomplete and do not keep the package where it came out from? We had to buy the exact same lawnmower at a different store for R499.99 more. How is that fair to...

I'm still shaken by the kind of treatment i got from the centre with my team ohh Lord... so we went to withdrew money and buy food at picknpay, whilst we were waiting for whole team to finish shopping a big white man came by ask just stod there starred at us and i greeted him and ask if he is okay..his response was "are you guys permitted to be here??" Whilst we still astonished ,Security guy came along to add up saying " you guys are not allowed to be here" and i simple asked what permission we need to be here??? You telling all these other people have permits to be here in the centre???..... not knowing the big white man is the centre management , how we knew this?? Him asking " who are you?? " and i asked him back " who are you to come ask us have we got permit to be in the centre??" Are you telling me all these white people here had permit coming to your centre?? Or you see the need to ask us the permit of being here cause we a group of "Black people" in a white centre??? He told us to leave the centre immediately...we left shocked of such treatment from a centre management of all people.....are we still in racial era at "Klerksdorp willkopies"??shocking...

Pick n Pay Klerksdorp need an overall upgrade!!! From Managers to packers........in the first place please let all the workers be more neat and well dressed......if the food isn't wrotten the food is pass the Best Before date and still on the shelves.......most of the cashiers are unfriendly or can't speak, they throw our groceries through to the packers.........we believe you do not throw groceries, because there's just too much people that are hungry in South Africa it's a privilege to have a job with a job subscription and also a privilege to can buy food etc. The trolleys are always dirty and in an unexpected unwanted state because we as shoppers must put food in these trolleys . Why can't a manager or two delegate two person's to wash the trolleys every week??? No, they rather sit in their...
