Mozambik Klerksdorp — Restaurant in Matlosana Local Municipality

Yesterday (2/2/20), was my third and definately LAST visit! After about 4 mnths and 2 dissapointing visits we decided to give Mozambik another chance! Once again my order was wrong after repeating it 3 times! Even the table next to ours had the same problem even though they had a different waiter so it seems to be a communication problem with kitchen or incompetent staff/chef! The snail starter was once again devine but my husbands chicken livers had a watery sauce instead of thick and creamy. How can u tell customers there's no mash JUST BEFORE the main meal has to be served? Why weren't we told when we ordered! We asked if the chips were fresh or frozen and were told they were fresh but got frozen type! Obviously waiters are not properly trained and don't know what the difference is! The food in general is very tasty and this time we only waited about 15 minutes (compared to the hour on previous visits)but the portion sizes are pathetically small for what u pay!! We were once again dissapointed! Thank you Mozambik Klerksdorp but we'll rather support the original Mozambik restaurant in Ballito where we've ALWAYS...

Mozambik restaurant in Klerksdorp was surely an amazing dining experience!From the warm , friendly welcome by Dilna and family, to the general ambience, feel good factor, to the pungent aroma of quality food tickling one's nostrils, was nothing short of par excellence! We ordered haloumi for starters with crispy brown edges and succulent centre, not too chewy, not too mushy, just right The prawns served with coconut rice, really yummy, and chips fried golden brown with a good balance of crispy and fluffy The mixture of lemon butter and peri peri sauce soaked perfectly In the prawns , a taste that would satisfy the most critical connoisseur The spacious and airy play area for the kids with multiple activities for little busy bodies and minds was a welcome addition to an already superb gastronomic experience We were stuffed to the brim and had to skip dessert unfortunately, but looking forward to trying it on my next visit All in all, a classy and satisfying experience, great staff and solid management make this an establishment to be frequented as often as possible! Impeccable service, friendly staff and very accommodating to a customers needs.

Due to extensive load shedding, my Dog and I took a random drive around Klerksdorp town, looking for a place to eat supper.

We stopped at Mozambik Klerksdorp as their food honestly hits the spot! My initial order was a takeaway due to my Dog being in the car. To my surprise, the owner sets up a secure area for myself and my dog to sit-in.

The owner brought my Dog water and was very interactive and gave us personal attention, even though the restaurant was almost full! Food was 1st class, as always.

I highly recommend visiting this franchise should you want a quick good quality meal, atmosphere and/or just want to have a date with your Companion!
