Milky Lane Key West — Local services in Mogale City Local Municipality

We waited almost 30 minutes before a waiter came to take or order. We did receive our order within 10 minutes. But then we waited a while for the bill. When we wanted to pay it was obvious that we were going to split the bill as we had to bank cards out and ready. I told the waiter, in a very clear and loud voice, R90....gave my card, entered my pin. When my friend wanted to pay, she told the waiter, 'the same' . The waiter looked at us, said 'oh, I thought you said R190'. Handed me the bank slip and walked off...no aknowledgement of her mistake, no sorry, nothing. If the service was outstanding etc, I would have said a R34 tip for a R156 bill is fine - but the waiter was not friendly, didnt even own up to her mistake. This Milky Lane wont ever see me again, not that I ever go...

Waiters at this Milky Lane never wants to work. Have to walk up to a waiter to ask for service. We were 4 people seated, and each ordered 1 drink, and there were 2 waffles ordered (special). The waffles came before all the drinks. Then the drinks arrived one by one. After 3 drinks came, the waiter came and took two drinks back, saying they were wrong (they were - but she left before we could tell her when she brought it). Then, again, the drinks came bit by bit.

Terrible waiters. Good...

Milky Lane will always share a spot in my heart. However, it feels as if it slowly getting worse. My fondest memories were the savoury pancakes and waffles. They only serve 3 types of savoury waffles of which 1 you can usually order. There are also no more savory pancakes. To be honest some cafès have a wider and better tasting milkshake selection. Saddens my heart. Service is still...
