Wimpy Key West — Restaurant in Mogale City Local Municipality

i've been going to wimpy since i was a child and it has always been a family favorite. but i must say that the quality of my experiences has definitely gone down significantly. not just as this branch, at every branch i've been to recently. today the service was horrible. while i do acknowledge that it was quite busy; the waiters paid no mind to us when we arrived and only served us after helping other people who arrived AFTER us. we ordered two burgers, and a side of hashbrowns. our food arrived, but no hashbrowns. our waitress didn't check up on us during our meals and the hashbrowns never arrived. we weren't billed for the hashbrowns, but i was still disappointed as we clearly ordered them, but they never arrived. the food was great, i have no complaints about that, but i really do think wimpy has lost it's magic over the years. i'd rather go eat breakfast somewhere else...

This applies only to Wimpy Key West. Normally on Slipper Day I wear my slippers and grab a " take away" coffee. Because they are promoting "Tiger Specials" I decided to treat my son. We ordered the half waffle with ice cream along with the "free" coffee as we had the slippers and the stickers. The portion is a child's portion. The bill should have been R40. Imagine my surprise when I was handed my bill for R80. On the bill it said Slipper Stickers. When I queried this, I was tol d that the coffee had been doubled up. At no time was I asked if that would be OK to do so. What should have been a pleasure turned out to be a bad experience. I will not go to this Wimpy again. I advise other patrons to check their bills...

Always have breakfast here on Sunday. It is a great spot to chill with family. Menu offers diverse options and even health concious options such as swopping fries for salad, etc. Breakfast is offered throughout the day. Waiters and waitresses are super friendly and helpful. Thulani always knows exactly what we require and always goes the extra mile to help u get the best experience. Introduced many different drinks to the menu. It is a bit pricey but good quality food prepared freshly. This place has been part of Keywest for over 10 years. Wifi is great. Always works and the speed is good. Makes up for everything else. Would definitely recommend this...
