Haebangchon Sinheung Market — Local services in Seoul

A great local spot with some food and or drink related options. Visited in the lunch hours which I don't really recommend. This place is great for a evening vibe.

With the neighborhood contributing to make a very different feel from other spots in Seoul.

Even more so if you aren't a big fan of huge crowds. This used to be and still is a very popular spot, but on the downside the spot itself doesn't offer much options. It is very limited.

However, the view you get on your way down or up from this local food market is really something else.

Great area for photographers to get some local and none...

It seemed like it was going to be a collection of shopping, restaurants, and cafes.

But it was mostly restaurants; we already eaten and there was a lot of waiting, so we didn’t try any. I’d recommend going early in the morning if you to take photos or at a random time to avoid the meal rush.

The drivers are also crazy and there’s no parking…. But there’s a bus that can take you to and from the bottom of the mountain.

But I’d go again to try the restaurants they all seemed like...

I visited the area to buy some vegetables as they are not available in HBC. I had no idea its sort of Tourist destination. Maybe since its Covid era, i found nothing special over there. A few vegetable shops, one had really old and decayed vegetable, i went further for another one which was better. For me it looked a very normal top hill, i foujd nothing...
