Piscina Municipal - public swiming pool 50 meters — Local services in Arona

To use the pool you need to book online. It's very difficult to get an account with the online system if you don't live in Tenerife and the staff are understandably not used to dealing with tourists (I guess most people don't want to train in an olympic pool while on holiday). But once you get past the hurdles, the pool is excellent. Warm and clean with wide lanes. Incredibly cheap at just €1.50 per visit (even less if you book in blocks of 10).

One thing to note: swim caps are required. Luckily(?) for me, I don't have enough hair for it to be a problem but the signs informing you of this requirement are only visible once you've paid and entered the pool so it might catch...

A 50 m olympic size pool right in Las Americas! Awesome! Very comfy water temp. Kinda concerned about the missing tiles. Hope it’ll stay sealed. unfortunately due to the covid only 45 minutes of swimming is allowed. you can enter every hour at thirty minutes, you have to leave the pool at fifteen o'clock. the water has a pleasant temperature and the staff is helpful. Let's be happy to...
