K-VEGAN — Restaurant in Arona

For all to know, I knew K Vegan since 8 years ago. For many years every time I went there another man was cooking my food. An older person. I loved it all, especially the wraps. Now, since only another man is the only one cooking, all changed. In BAD. The seaweed wrap used to contain delicious baked eggplant and tasty sauces, now, it has two big raw tomato slices that ruin it all! I also tried a cake, from pumpkin and caramel I think it was, and it had ZERO taste! I'm vegan, all my life was, my family too, so I know how all these should have tasted! I was so embarassed that I didn't even tell the man directly into his face that ruined the food... 20 euro for nothing good. This is the truth! We went here for our anniversary dinner seeing that the reviews were great. The staff is really nice and sweet, but that didn't change the fact that we waited about an hour and a half for our food. The starters and mains were brought out at the same time which was surprising for us. We would have imagined that the starters would come out first so we could get started.

We got a burger and a wrap. Both were underwhelming. The croquettes platter was decent. Our desserts we asked to takeaway. We got the cheesecake and chocolate cake. We were unfortunately very disappointed. The cheesecake tasted mostly of a nut paste and the chocolate cake was only slightly better.

We had a brief visit at Tenerife lasting 2 days but visited K-VEGAN not only once but 2 times because of the great food and people. We were really grateful finding a 100% vegan restaurant. We were able to relax fully and enjoy the meals because we knew only vegan ingredients will be used in this restaurant and we as vegans are safe.

We highly recommend to visit K-VEGAN. Especially the patatas bravas (crunchy potatoes with delicious dips) and the burgers were awesome.
