BTB sport — Local services in Cangas de Onís

100% recommendable! Rented a mountain bike at BTB Sports for a week, collecting lots of long-lasting memories! The experience with BTB sports was just impeccable from the very first interaction onwards. The bike was in perfect conditions, the pricing was very good, and Jorge, the owner, recommended me lots of amazing routes.

Arriving in Cangas with public transport, I felt a bike would be the best option to see the area. The day I was arriving (very spontaneous trip), I wrote BTB sports via Instagram, got a direct response and the next morning when entering the shop, the bicycle was already prepared for me incl. helmet and combo lock. When I asked what places I should visit, Jorge took a lot of time to explain lots of different options. All of them were stunning - and many of them not touristic. You definitely notice that he knows the area by heart. The bicycle, as said was in perfect conditions with new tyres etc.

Also, the shop is well equipped for various disciplines incl. clothes and shoes and just offers everything you might need such as gels (various labels), drinking...

When we were planning our trip to Asturias we contemplated bringing our bicycles all the way from Los Angeles. It was difficult to find a shop that would rent bikes per day in Aviles. However, one last Google search lead us to BTB Sport. Thank goodness! Jorge was happy to communicate with me over Whatsapp and make sure all of my questions were answered. When we arrived in Spain, we did need to drive a way to Cagnas de Onis to the whoo where we were fitted for the bikes. Jorge was kind enough to even save an XS for my youngest son. Our next problem was that our rental car was not big enough to carry 4 bikes back to our AirBnB. Jorge offered transportation 1 hour and 20 minutes away! I highly recommend BTB Sport for anything...

My girlfriend and I found BTB last week after recommendation from a local Marmut tour operator named David. Our own bike had developed a brake fault and a running repair was quickly provided by BTB free of charge. So passionate were the staff at BTB about the area that we both rented an EMTB for 1 day to see the peaks. The bikes were such fun that I went back to extend the rental next day to see beautiful Los Lagos in better weather a second time.
