Supermercado Carrefour Express — Local services in Málaga

I don't normally review supermarkets but this Carrefour deserves it. The staff are always super friendly and helpful and the price point is very fair for being located in a prime area. For example, I went today looking for for a specific product . They did not have it but they did have the product as a free promotion sample if you bought xx coca colas. I did not even ask for a sample but the guy working handed it to me and insisted I take it even though I did not buy the coca colas. Its those small things of kindness that really makes a difference in customer service....

I agree with other commenters about cashiers being rude, especially towards foreigners. The older woman cashier with bleached hair was very rude and condescending. While the line was long and I was buying a lot of things, she did not even initiate to help me to bag groceries and was just standing their grimacing sarcastically. Then, she kept calling me señora when I asked her not to and she is much older! felt absolutely horrible after having spent good money there on major supermarket grocery list, I left in a bad mood. Beware of rude cashiers with no manners at...

Small market only for acute stuff. Good for survival for a day or two. Overpriced tho. Probably because it is in the middle of the city. I wished it had more things so I didn't have to walk far away from home. Friendly staff. But I could not actually find any staff away from the cashier. If I had a question I have to come all the way...
