Fabulous show for any music and dance lover, especially neophytes to Flamenco like us. The virtuousity of the solo guitarist blended with the syncopated clapping and staccato dance steps combining to create infectious rhythms that ebbed and flowed in mesmerizing waves. The male voices were powerful and brought to mind Jewish cantors with their powerful and sustained vibrato. The dancers were spellbinding, slowly building to powerful crescendos punctuated by sudden stomps accenting the male's successive rigid pirouettes and the female's flowing arm and upper body movements. The Teatro is a MUST SEE if you’re visiting Màlaga. The venue itself is very charming and the show absolutely fantastic, even if you don’t speak Spanish. The energy the performers bring to the stage grips you from the very first moment and sucks you into a journey of music, dance and song. I had goose bumps throughout the whole performance. The venue is small and creates an intimate atmosphere. Due to this there are multiple performances a day, multiple days a week.
