Banyan Thai Massage, Marbella — Local services in Marbella

I’m really not the type to leave bad reviews, especially after being a loyal customer for years. I’ve always supported this place and brought many people with me over the years.

But I’m honestly so disappointed. The professionalism is just not there anymore. They started my massage and then suddenly switched the person in the middle because another client showed up no explanation, no heads-up. That’s not how things should be handled.

I had booked 1.5 hours, but because I was so upset, I decided to leave. After that, they told me they wouldn’t charge me for the 30 minutes but also that I’m no longer welcome to return, simply because I didn’t accept the change.

After all the years, I never expected to be treated this way. It’s really sad for me to say, but I won’t be coming back. Answering your nice answer I never complained and I was actually writing a nice review that I was forced to change because of the new manager behavior… the first responsible was very educated and a very nice person and for the prices one hour it was always 60€ without tips how come in your comment you change it to 100€ and called me hassle after all those years ! Cannot wait to go back to this salon!! The massage was incredible and you can tell the owner - Hla Hla - has really good experience from Thailand and has trained her masseuses well. I spoke with her afterwards and she was lovely and you can tell she really cares.

I had walked past Banyan Thai Massage near the beach and spoke to one of the masseuses who was walking in. She was great, so friendly and gave me their card in case I wanted to come back.

I actually went back that day and they fit me in straight away and asked me what I needed doing. I knew I loved a traditional thai massage but the receptionist suggested the oil version which did not disappoint.

The masseuse asked me where was causing me the most pain and ensured I was relaxed and comfortable. Also what is great about a thai massage is the positions they put you in and the pressure points were just right!

Absolutely Top Class Massage

I'm a builder and don't generally go in for massages or treatments but I have had back pain recently from work and so decided to try Banyan whilst on holiday in Marbella. My girlfriend went there last year and has been raving about how good it is and she is right. The therapist talked me through the different massages and as a novice I chose Thai mixed oil which turned out to be a combination of traditional Thai with a relaxing oil massage too. Bottom line, my back pain has gone, I completely relaxed during the massage ( something I rarely do) and it also spurred me to write a review. In my own business I don't need to advertise as I get all my work from recommendations. Banyan Thai Massage are clearly the same. I wish they had a salon nearer my home as I'd go every week.
